the price is great for the product you get, I thought it would be a little lighter weight for the cost. but it's a great thickness. a very clear product that boasts that it stands up to hot and cold extremes. it won't be damaged by frost or even light hail.excellent price to quality, with proper care should last a number of seasons.

The fact that this pre-cut fold of greenhouse polyethylene (PE) cover is pre-cut to size makes it easier on the gardener, knowing that someone else has handled that awkward job. As long as your needs fall within the nominal 13'x26' cut size you should be happy with this product.The poly thickness averages out at 0.10mm; the thinest reading I got was 0.08mm and the thickest was 0.12mm. This compares favourably with the heavy duty ground barriers construction crews use under "slab on grade" building foundations. It is much tougher than the "6 mil" house insulation vapour barriers sold in most building supply stores.There are heavier, thicker vapour barriers available, up to 0.20mm, but I suspect using that gauge would inhibit light passing through and into the greenhouse because the thicker the PE, the more opaque it becomes. The photos accompanying this review should help you decide if this is the product for you.Of course this pre-cut poly fold can be used for more than greenhouses, an example being on a temporary boathouse frame to keep boats protected from summer rains and wind-borne debris. In any case the PE tarp should do the job if properly installed so that it doesn't flap and flail when the winds blow.It will be interesting to see how long this tarp lasts once installed and subjected to the sun's UV rays. At 0.10mm guage it should offer sone resistance to small projectiles like minor branches, but don't expect it to be able to withstand any heavier, sharp-edged branches and the like.
