Zebra LI3678-SR Ultra-Rugged Cordless 1D Barcode Scanner/Linear Imager Kit, FIPS, Vibration Motor, Includes Cradle, Power Supply and USB Cord

I had an old LS3578 die on me in my shipping department at work and needed to replace it. I found the replacement was the new Zebra LI3678 and did a little more research before ordering this. The price on Amazon was great and I knew I needed something to keep my shipping department going. The new scanner has a wider laser and vibrates when you scan a barcode. The vibration takes a little bit of getting used to, but it's nice to have the instant feedback to know you successfully scanned something.Setup was easy, it was plug and play and I like that this included an AC power adapter as my last LS3578 did not and relied on the USB connection to power it which meant the computer needed to be awake to be charging the scanner. Once I had the cables plugged in, I opened the manual to the page that had pre-loaded barcode "codes" and scanned for auto carriage return and we were up and running.The battery life is phenomenal. I am having my employees leave it off the cradle between charges and we are getting 2 weeks per charge right now running one shift with intermittent scanning throughout the day.Overall this scanner is great for industrial use, I am using this in a factory storage facility and the scanner is durable and reliable. This is a great scanner for business/industrial use.

This product clearly states that it is "NOT FOR SALE, SERVICE OR USE OUTSIDE OF CHINA" but is no where stated in the Amazon item description. If this is a concern to you DON'T BUY from Amazon. We are a company that conducts business in the USA and Worldwide and this is not acceptable thru Zebra Channel Rules. We have our legal working on it.
