Great for remote control of headless physical computers such as conference room PCs while TV is off

I picked up a couple of these for conference room PCs where Action1's remote control was not working when the conference room TV (display port to HDMI adapter) was not turned on (but worked fine when the TV was turned on). I plugged these in & they were not immediately detected on an nVidia card/Windows 10 machine, but as soon as I hit detect displays the 2nd display popped right up. After that point I was able to remote into the conference room PCs without issue even when the TV is not on. It shows up as a 2nd monitor, but I think there should be no issue of folks accidentally moving apps/etc to the "2nd" monitor.

Doesn't support 4K at 60Hz

As others have reviewed (and my fault for not checking), this doesn't actually support the advertised resolutions and refresh rates. Instead here's what you get:- 4k (3840 x 2160) at 17 Hz- 1440p (2560 x 1440) at 30 Hz- 1080p (1920 x 1080) at 60HzAnd no this isn't some compatibility issue, or user error. Taking a quick look at the NVidia control panel reveals what's going on here: this is a DisplayPort to headless DVI adapter. Yes DVI, the standard that even if it were dual link DVI caps out at 30Hz for resolutions above 1600p. Sadly this is just your basic single link DVI so we are limited to even lower refresh rates. Long story short, there is no way this could *ever* have supported 4k at 60Hz. Outright false marketing and lies.

Just okay, lack of audio is a bummer

The 4K DP Dummy Plug Headless Display Adapter proves to be an indispensable tool for users seeking to optimize their system performance, particularly in scenarios such as running a GTX 1660 on Windows Server over Proxmox for Google Remote Desktop functionality. This dummy plug effectively tricks the system into recognizing a display, allowing for smooth operation and enhanced compatibility in headless setups. With its support for 4K resolution, it ensures crisp and clear visuals, essential for various applications and remote desktop solutions. However, there's a notable drawback to consider: the lack of support for HD audio. This limitation means that audio cannot be routed over Google Remote Desktop, impacting the overall user experience for those relying on audio functionality.Despite this drawback, the 4K DP Dummy Plug Headless Display Adapter remains a valuable asset for users seeking to maximize their system's capabilities in headless configurations. Its ease of use, compatibility, and reliable performance make it a worthy investment for streamlining remote desktop setups and ensuring seamless operation.

Does not support 1440p ultra wide or 60hz.

Dose not support the needed (and standard) 1440p ultrawide resolutions and it does certainly does not support 60hz. its also not true displayport its DVI over displayport.

4K 17hz not 60hz

Title states it supports 4K at 60hz but the picture says 17hz. I can confirm that it does NOT support 60hz
