Replacement Gravity Tap for British Berkefeld Stainless Steel Gravity Drinking Water Filter Housing ¦ Fits Other Gravity Filter Systems Too (Metallic)

This review is for the metal version of the British Berkfield tap as I know the reviews here cover the plastic and metal versions. I've owned a British Berkfeld gravity filter for about two decades. The only recurring problem has been the plastic taps of which I've been through about five or six over the years (they can be temperamental and prone to leakage after a while). Anyway I thought i'd spend a bit more on a stainless steel tap this time and I'm so glad I did. It's of exceptional quality, easy to manoeuvre and I can just tell by its smooth movement that I'm unlikely to experience future problems with it, fingers crossed. It looks quite chic too. A great piece of kit!

Perfect fit

The original tap became more and more difficult to reinstall after clining the unit as it constantly leaked a little. Changing to the metal tap seems to have fixed the problem!

I wanted all stainless no plastic pity the filter doesn’t come with it, however this tap and washer’s finishes off the filter looks how it should.

Far more robust than the provided plastic one. Great product and good price. Fast delivery.

This was to add to my original oder of a Berkfield water filter. It didn't have a tap unfortunately.
