Short person review: I am around 4'11" and purchased this for a no-weight-bearing surgery recovery (to replace a a standard wedge and pillows that weren't quite working to keep my "toes above the nose"). I chose this item based on its positive reviews and expedited delivery. It expanded within minutes of opening and had none of the usual off-gassing. The pillow is firm enough to hold its shape while being soft enough to feel restful, it doesn't sink or get indents, and it looks like the cover can be removed to launder. My issue is the leg height, and that is probably something that I should've paid more attention to - when laying on a bed and bending my knee, the bend of the pillow and channel where the lower leg rests is about 2" higher than my knee joint. So for those reasons it is uncomfortable - again this might be a "short people problem" or even a "just me problem". The incline side has a handle to adjust where it rests and also on the outer edge, but only one handle in each spot where two (one on each side of leg) would really be useful.

Broke my ankle in 3 places and needed ORIF surgery. Before I could have surgery, ortho wanted the swelling to go down significantly and I wasn't able to comfortably rest my leg on just pillows. This wedge pillow saved me!The only thing I would change is I wish the front (where the foot sits) was an inch or so higher than the rest of it so the foot is elevated instead of even with the knee. I solved this by folding a small towel and putting it under the front of the wedge.Otherwise, I love the soft, washable cover (the betadine from my leg has already rubbed off onto it), the handles make it easy for me to move around (I can even carry it while using my crutches), and the cutout is the perfect size if you need a splint or cast.
