Forget about air tags!
I’ve always been an avid air tag user, but have hit barriers when it comes to fitting one to my slim wallet. I’ve tried 3-D printed cards to fit the air tag but in the end they always over bulked my wallet. But this bad boy was a life changer. After seeing a YouTuber edc recommendation, I thought I’d look into it. I was a little iffy about the price (as it’s not official apple, there wasn’t the usual brand reassurance) but once I got it, I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. Not only does it work in find my so no more apps are needed but it’s easy to set up, robust and more importantly adds barely any bulk to my wallet! It holds all the same functionality as an air tag, allows for distance tracking and sound alerts, but in a better package.

Curate's Egg
There is much to like about the Chipolo One Spot.Pros:1. Cheaper than AirTag2. Works with Find My3. Has a hole for keyring - no need to buy an extra case.Unfortunately, it also has a couple of key flawsCons:1. Chipolo is only 'splash proof,' not fully waterproof2. Chipolo lacks Apple's Precision Locating - so if you know your keys are somewhere in the room, it won't necessarily point you towards the sofa - you'll have to ring your keys and hope that you can hear the noise!3. Maybe it's me, but I do find that (an earlier model) of Chipolo has a tendency to set itself off in my pocket!BUT if you can live with these drawbacks (and I can) the Chipolo One Spot gives the AirTag a good run for its money.

It Does Work Very Well
The one thing this does not not have is ultra wideband tracking which is where the Airtags have a very good advantage. The problem is, if your iPhone does not support ultra wideband tracking, there is no advantage. It also does not have NFC which just means Android phones will not be able to scan the Chipolo in lost mode but iPhones can through the app. To set it up you simply put the find me app into device search mode and press on the Chipolo in the middle of the disc and follow the on screen instructions and that’s it. The alarm is quite a bit louder and it doesn’t cut off after 5 seconds unlike the Airtag. I would say both the Airtag and Chipolo are very useful depending on which iPhone you have, but for me, because I have the latest iPhone SE, I find the Chipolo is more suitable because my iPhone does not support ultra wideband tracking, therefor I have to rely more on the alarm which the Chipolo does have quite an advantage over the Airtag. Overall the choice is quite simple. If you have ultra wideband tracking on your iPhone, the Airtag is a lot more suitable but if it doesn’t, the Chipolo in my opinion has to be a much better option because of it’s alarm which is what you have to rely on.

Not timely, and not safe to use for pets.
Every time we’ve needed it it has failed. The battery doesn’t last long enough for it to be practical; six months max. Advertised battery life no doubt from lab conditions or data estimate.Locating - would only show location more than 10 minutes ago, which if your trying to find a lost dog is no use at all.Lost mode doesn’t work effectively. If you’re lucky you’ll get a text message about an hour after you’ve already found the tag.Play sound only works if you’re very close to the tag and have been for at least 10-15 mins. The only application is to find your list keys in your house where you are with good wifi. Anything else it’s useless. Just get a key bowl/key hook and keep your keys there, it’s cheaper and doesn’t need batteries :)

Find my ….
Great items for finding wallets etc. It’s a pity the credit card one cannot have it’s batteries replaced but the round ones can.

Slim, loud, but lacking full FindMy functionality
It’s a fairly discrete, slim device, and makes a loud sound when required, but it’s only compatible with the general location functionality of Apple FindMy, not the ability to direct us directly to the device that Apple AirTags support. If we want to know if our wallet is at home or at work, this will do the job for us, we’ll see a location circle that is at or includes that location, but if we want to know exactly where at home or work it is, an AirTag is much better. To some extent the loudness of the device compensates for this.

Perfect
I love the thinness of the tracker, easy to use and seems very reliable
