Stepped drill bit
Arrived very quickly. Not overly priced and looks good quality.Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to use it yet!! I doubt it will disappoint

Very sharp and easily drilled into stainless steel
Easily drilled into tough materials, including stainless, leaving a very clean hole. No sign of blunting after drilling about 30 20mm holes, but I haven't used it for long enough to know how well it will keep its sharpness.

A really useful tool. Expensive, but it isn’t made of cheese like the Chineseium alternatives.

It works
Goes through stainless steel like the cnc drilling machines I used to work with, so I know what I’m talking about. I was actually surprised it did go through a very smooth and hard steel so easily.

Rather disappointing (very!). I tried using this to drill through a thin sheet metal panel (car body work). It really struggled to start a hole so I swapped to a standard HSS drill bit which easily penetrated the sheet steel panel. I then swapped back to the step drill bit which really struggled to cut through the thin steel work which after a few minutes I did create a 20mm hole. However, repeating the exercise to drill a second 20mm hole completely failed. I reverted to my metal circular saw bits which glided through the thin steep panels. This step drill bit is not suitable for what is advertised. I strongly urge people to look at alternatives.
