Actually hangable artwork
I have generally become enamored of some of the more elegant display pieces LEGO has produced in recent years, but this is my favorite so far. It's a really creative rendition of the classic woodblock painting, with a lot of depth and texture, but it's also designed to be hung on your wall. They really thought about the structural engineering needed to make that work, and it can be hung with two nails.Additionally, the picture and the frame/mat are pieced separately and then joined together, so if you want a different color mat or frame, you can just order bricks in the right color (with the help of the pieces list in the back of the book) and redo the frame to match your decor. I'll be ordering some black bricks to make it looks like a basic gallery frame and match the rest of the artwork I have in my house.

Gorgeous
Beautiful and a decent challenge to put together over a few days. It’s really pretty hung up, and the option to have it in or out of the frame is a nice touch.

Brings a new spin to a beautiful piece of art
I bought it for my wife who loves building Legos and she loved it. I ended up hanging it up by my desk and I just absolutely love how it came out.

The PERFECT gift
Lego outdid themselves with this set. Gifted this to my husband and he became a kid again. Once built, the frame includes spots where you can tie a wire or a string and hang it on the wall. Which we did, next to our Hokusai print.Highly suggest listening to the podcast while building. It tells the story of this project and all the folks involved into making this a reality. There’s even a story about the bird pieces and why they were used 😉Absolutely beautiful set!
