A fantastic product and great customer service. My wife has hundreds of old audio plays some recorded from radio and some no longer available and we are digitising them and dropping onto her iPod. The process is so simple. The quality is fantastic and my wife couldn't be happier. Some tapes are over 30 years old and this machine is handling them perfectly. The beauty is she can walk around recording and checking the tapes rather than sitting for hours on end with a fixed audio link to a mac. I spent months searching for similar products but reviews were mixed in quality and noise then luckily i came across this one and took the plunge as a Christmas present and it was a great decision. My wife says it has made her so happy to be able to listen to her old collection and know they are now digitized and no longer at risk of deterioration. Well done Gracioso for a great product.

This is a great little device. It works well and clear. The 16GB card that comes along with the device is an added bonus. I am very impressed with the customer services of this product. It comes with a year's warranty. The device I was sent developed a small fault and I wrote to the customer services of the Chinese Company selling this product, stating I had the warranty and would they consider replacing the old device even though the Amazon return period was up. They sent me a new one and didn't want the old back. They were extremely helpful, courteous and quick to deal with. Their proficiency took me aback actually! I have dealt with a lot slower and less helpful.

In some ways this is a great item - very easy to use - just press play on the tape and record on the front of the machine in order to copy to the micro SD card. When the tape stops the track is automatically saved to the card. You can turn the tape over and repeat the process and each side of each tape will be saved as a separate track. HOWEVER, I have had this item for just over a week and already the SD card has failed twice - suddenly the display shows "NO" (i.e. it does not recognise that there is a card inserted). This happens without warning so if you had already recorded a number of cassettes to the card you would be irritated to put it mildly since the only option is then to reformat the card, losing everything stored on it, and start again. Consequently I have been removing the card and copying the MP3 file after ever cassette side, which is tedious. As others have mentioned, there is a track already on the card which is necessary to get it to work, so if you end up having to reformat the card you will also have to add an mp3 track to it before it will work again in the cassette recorder. I'm not sure yet whether I will persevere with this or return it, although there are limited alternatives if I don't want to download software onto my computer (which I would rather not)EDIT: Editing this review to say I received a very swift response to this review from the seller (which I wasn't expecting) immediately offering a refund and a replacement item. I am adding an extra star for excellent no-quibble customer service, which is a rare thing!

I am extremely impressed with this cassette player and with the customer support that I have received. The cassette player is easy to use and the sound and recording quality are excellent. When I received the product, the screen showed that the SD card was not inserted although the SD card was loaded so I contacted Gracioso Customer Service. The response exceeded my expectations. Diana from the Customer Service team replied quickly and the way that she responded was fantastic. This maintained my confidence in the product and my enthusiasm to use it. A replacement arrived quickly and I am pleased with the performance of the cassette player. It plays my old tapes very well and transcription mode is very good, I now have copies of precious cassette recordings on the SD card and I have copied them successfully onto my laptop. I'm delighted!

So I bought this so that we could play my father's old cassettes in the house.. He's been playing in his old car since the 80's up until recently and all were in perfect condition...First couple of tapes seemed to play ok but I did notice there was an underlying 'warble' with a couple sounding as if they were being played ever so slightly quicker than they should.I did try to do a quick Fast-Forward and Rewind to re-tension a couple of the tapes and it seemed to fix a couple of the shorter length cassettes, but the issue were still there...It fails to completely rewind/fast-forward a couple of his C90/C120 'mix' tapes, basically 'slipping/grinding' to a complete stop while making a god-awful noise.AND THEN IT HAPPENED... Less than 5 minutes into playing Tubular Bells and the unit decides to chew up the tape.!!!We've had the unit LESS THAN 24 HOURS and it's destroyed one of my father's favourite cassettes. He's old school so doesn't use new tech/streaming services, replacing this cassette is now going to cost me a fortune...NOT HAPPY... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DON'T BOTHER...RETURNING FOR REFUND

We were gonna record our guitar playing, but this one is more for digitising old cassette tapes onto SD card. So, it didn't do what we thought.
