My son had terrible baby eczema over his forehead from about 4 months old, it looked terrible and he used to scratch at it during the night. By 6 months old and after trying every over the counter product available and a trip to the doctors with no improvement I decided to give this product a try after reading about it on a baby forum. I am not one that goes in for 'miracle creams' however that is exactly what this stuff is! My sons eczema was improved after a few days and completely gone in two weeks! I also used it on my own skin which I had currently been using a steroid cream on and had the same outcome. I recommended it to a work colleague who hadn't worn a short sleeved top for months because of her unsightly eczema and again the same amazing outcome! I now use it every now and then when my own or my sons skin looks dry just to keep it at bay - he is now nearly ten months old and hasn't had another outbreak since. It is a really light cream, not thick and greasy like some of the others, and absorbs quickly - it is amazing and I will certainly keep my cupboard well stocked with it. If you are an eczema sufferer this will be the best ten quid you have ever spent!

I don't normally write reviews but this warranted one. My babies Eczema was awful- I went to the Doctors rwice about it and was given E45 washes and creams and other emollients- but nothing was working- My baby would scratch until she bled- and it was on her face really bad. I was about to beg the Dr to give me some steroid cream- but then I found out about this and thought I would give it a try. No Joke within a week her skin looked perfect!!!!!!!! There is a slight coating on the skin- but this stops it drying out- We ran out whilst on holiday and after a few days her skin started to look red, blotchy and dry again. I couldn't wait to get home to order some more- we are on our third bottle now. I will not run out again! My skin is way better too! If you are uumming and arrhhing- just do it. My baby is 3 months old and had a huge and severe outbreak of eczema due to irritation of lanolin products. In the space of 2 weeks I spent hundreds on products and none of them calmed it down , went to the doctors and antibiotics made her skin even worse everything she had a reaction too.I even went to a private dermatologist who recommended a creme that made it worseI eventually came across a review about this product and in less than 2 days her skin was baby soft and the harsh sandpaper cheeks turned soft!! I bought this for my ten week old baby who has been suffering from dry itchy skin on his face which has been keeping him awake at night and cradle cap. I had been advised by a pharmacist to use Sunflower oil on his scalp for the cradle cap which had helped to an extent but after a few hours the scales and dryness returned. I also tried cradle cap shampoo but it was very drying and made it worse. The texture of the cream initially feels thick and heavy but it absorbs very well and even when applying onto hair it wasn't left looking or feeling oily. It has worked an absolute treat and after applying it only once and my son's skin looks brand new. It has been 24 hours since I first applied it and no dryness, itchyness or scales have returned! I can't recommend it enough!

Ordered this for my 10 month old son after reading positive reviews. It look a long time to arrive as it's shipped from the US and was fairly pricey in all. It has reduced his itching a little, he is scratching less - but it was no different really to Oilatum, E45 and the like products here. It has a bit of an unpleasant whiff to it too.Will I be buying it again? Perhaps if I could pick it up in my local supermarket or pharmacy, but not at the cost and time of it coming from abroad - no.In summary, it was okay, helped with his eczema a little.

Fantastic cream for my sons eczema, he is 13months old and after trying numerous prescription and shop bought creams this one seems to work wonders. I took it to show our GP and he said it had no obvious 'nasty' ingredients so perhaps it just agrees with his skin. Who knows but with this and a dairy free diet his skin has improved massively.Shame it's quite pricey but I think it's been shipped over from America.

So I suffer from crazy dry skin with occasional outbreaks of chronic atopic eczema so using moisturiser top to toe is standard for me. I alternate between Cetraben and Aveeno but the morning after my skin is back to it's good old dry self. I was recommended this cream by a friend and thrilled to find it was being sold in the UK and also on Amazon. Well...this cream is my new favourite....12 hours later my skin still feels nourished and I'm reapplying in the morning because I know I should, not because I feel my skin actually needs it. It should be stressed that this isn't a cure for eczema but it's certainly got top marks from me as an eczema sufferer! I've just started using the Intensive Moisture Face Cream and that's also fantastic! So yes, these products aren't as cheap as Aveenor or Cetraben but from my perspective, they're certainly doing a better job!
