This is a brilliant item. I've always had the normal coated 2slice toaster but the ceramic plates are very easy to clean and more none stick. It is a lot bigger than I was expecting but it saves time. You can get more fillings into your toasties because of the deeper pockets Which is great and I've found the pattern on the ceramic plates helps with toasting as well.

I have bought cheaper ones before but I love this one it makes the bread sort of puffy toasts lovely can buy different plates for it for other things grilling and such but this was well worth the money sturdy easy to clean love it 😀

It's okay but l like my toast brown, to get toasted sandwich l have to do it longer than said time, but it okay

Great sandwich maker. Mine heats up in about 2 minutes, toasts sandwiches perfectly in around 5 minutes depending on the bread and filling. I’ve even tried a square ciabatta roll and that was also a great success. I cleaned it and rubbed on a small amount of oil before first use as recommended, and it wipes clean easily.

I have missed my ham or jam Toasties so much I'm glad I purchased this as it takes me back to teen days of living on strawberry jam Toasties every chance I got. Brilliant!

This is an efficient sandwich toaster. It heats up quickly. It fills easily and seals properly unless you load it too much. It cooks thoroughly and makes delicious sandwiches. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of room in my cupboard or the worktop if I choose to leave it out.

It's a toastie maker! And it certainly will make a toasties. Heats up fast, reasonably easy to clean. The only issue, as mentioned by others, is that the plates are Square. You'll find that most loaves are not! Therefore, although you get a lovely toastie, half the filling will have escaped making for a slightly less deep toastie and a bit of burned mess to clean up in the unit.Most of the toastie makers I've seen have square plates and I've no idea what they are thinking. Also, if you use thick toastie bread then it will really squash your taostie, as "deep fill" is not really that deep!Wouldni buy it again? Nope, I'd look around for something that'll either fit a slice of bread or be a bit deeper. It'll do for now though.
