I’ve never used a spin mop before and it was super easy to set up. The spin function works really well. I think it does a pretty good job of cleaning the floors. I live in a 950 square-foot apartment and I can clean all 3 of the rooms with only two water changes. Also pouring the dirty water out is really easy. I’d say the lock ability of the handle is pretty good so far (full disclosure I’ve only had it for two weeks)

This mop is exceptional. It is the best mop I have ever used. It is easy to wring without touching the mop, ensuring clean hands. The bucket is constructed to high quality standards. The mop’s wetness or dryness can be controlled by adjusting the spin times. I add 10-15 mL of Fabuloso or Lysol all-purpose cleaner solution to the bucket when mopping to enhance the cleaning effect. This solution has a comparable scent to Swiffer Power Mop but at a significantly lower cost.Whether the mop rod and spinning part of the bucket are durable remains to be seen. So far, the performance has been satisfactory.Manufactured in the United States. I am highly satisfied with it.

I used to have an electric mop from Bissell, but that thing gave up the ghost after 16 years, so was looking for a new mop to clean my stupidly large kitchen. First tried the O-Cedar, but, after about 15 minutes I finally had enough and threw it in the trash because the pole was way too short and kept collapsing. Very frustrating and exhausting. Also I had concerns the foot pedal on the O-Cedar wouldn't last long - it seemed very flimsy. Gave the Libman a try, and while I still think the pole could be taller, it is significantly better than the O-Cedar and my floors come out clean and dry quickly. The best part is: it doesn't collapse while I'm washing the floor. There are two things though that drive me nuts: 1.The mophead is a pain to align onto the green frame. It takes a bit of practice and patience and you have to be careful not to force it in and break the frame. Once you get it on there, it's very secure, but, it can be very frustrating. 2. I wish there where wheels on the bucket, it would make it a lot easier to move around. Both of these things aren't worth knocking off a star; it's a great mop and I'm happy with my purchase.

The system is wonderful. However the handle is not long enough for people with back problems. Was hoping to not have to bend to mop. Have searched for where to purchase an extra handle piece but can not find one. Can anyone help?

Great buy. Sturdy made. Wrings mop out very well. Easy to use. Very easy. Much better than the mop bucket that you have to pump with your foot.

I tried. I really tried. Practiced with the lightweight 'always flips over' mop, tried to modify my style, rethink mopping.Yes, it's very light and when it isn't broken or flipping over or the collar coming off, it's not an awful solution to the old mop you used for generations before this. If you get good (yes, it takes some skills) you can spin it, throw the locking lever and get the mop onto the floor as it's spinning and that way the threads are expanded and it doesn't flip over and scraaaaape on your floor, sideways or upside down. Because that's what it really likes to do.The other thing it likes to do is pop out of the universal joint collar mechanism, which should be made of solid brass or titanium, because plastic is basically close to the worst thing it could be. It cracks, pops out, gets worn and more and more prone to popping out even if it's not cracked, which it probably will do, anyway.If you're a total masochist, this is the mop for you. If you mop a 4x5 micro apartment with a feather-light touch, maybe this is the mop for you, too. Everyone else? Save yourself the frustration of trying to glue the collar together when half your floor is filthy and you have mop water all over.

The swivel mop is a great product and good for anyone to use, including children. The idea concept of never touching a dirty mop to ring out water, or even putting your hands close to the ringer with the caution or warning of getting water, dirty water all to your hands is great with this system. It is definitely unlike a traditional mop. You can do a damp mop on your floor or you can do a wet mop on your floor With this system you have the option. The one thing this system does lack is a mop holder if you need to leave the mop in the bucket for a second, it will lean against the wall or fall over. Another thing about the system that I really like is you can put as much water as you want but because the engineers thought of crazy people like myself who would try to have a entire bucket of water that would hurt my back, the level of water that you will have will not be heavy. Overall, I will choose this over a traditional mop, bucket, and mop any day. This one is highly recommended.

It’s easy to use and the mop head is light weight, but the spinner doesn’t spin out enough water, the mop absorbs a lot of water! I had to hand ring. I bought this so that I would not have to touch the mop. I don’t know how well the mop will wash, but before I used it, it was shedding. It does clean well on tile and linoleum, but I have not tried it on hardwood. Once I do, I will revisit and give another update. UPDATE: Because of the condition of the hardwood floor in this old apartment, the mop fibers sometimes folded under the plastic base that holds the mop head. The plastic can easily scratch the floor. It was more difficult to use on hardwood than on tile and linoleum.I watched a video to see if I was doing something wrong. I did get better at using the spin feature and will give it a “B.” But the extended mop handle sometimes slipped down to the lower position while I was mopping and applied too much pressure. In my first review, I mentioned that the mop fibers were shredding before I used the mop. The mop held together with no further shredding while mopping. But to clean, I decided to soak in detergent and peroxide and then rinse. I still rate it a three. But I love the mop bucket, not so much the mop itself.
