it works
I had one of these for several years to protect my peaches from birds. It was finally damaged by severe weather. I'm replacing it with the same model for this year's harvest.

Don’t buy its junk.
After one mildly windy day the right wing (first picture) broke, appears the metal rivet failed causing the wing to detach from base. After a second windy day the left wing broke, the plastic piece on the base where the wing attached snapped. For a product that requires wind to do what it’s intended to do it is not made well.

You'll need a stick or something to hang it with
I was skeptical about this actually keeping away pigeons, it has absolutely kept them away. There were nests on my neighbor's roof and now, I rarely see them. Great product!

Almost impossible to mount
The media could not be loaded. The item itself looks like it will work great, however, I have no idea how we are expected to mount this thing on any kind of post.

Looks cool
It looks cool, not sure how long it will hold up in our wind and HOTTTT summers here.I haven't yet but I suggest painting your post to kinda match the back ground. Mine will be white to match the roof it will be mounted on.

Hawk deterrent!
I have chickens and was having problems. I put this up on a pole in the middle of the yard. I haven't even seen the hawk since. No more dead chickens.

Owl scarecrow
The connection on this owl scarecrow is the reason why it gets a 2 star. It moves in the wind correctly but I have had to put it up four times now. It would not stay on the pole so I ordered a flag pole to dangle it from. It kept breaking off that so finally I drilled holes in it and zip tied it to the pole. Hopefully it says now. I haven’t seen the hawk or owl for a few weeks so maybe it does scare them…too soon to tell though.

Only good for one season before it tears and falls apart but works great for the season!
Works great for gardens. It only lasts a season before the material for the wings deteriorate and rips off making it no good. Expensive but works.
