Good play mat, easy to use and put away. Found it good to use at home and travel with. I didn’t expect the squares to be so big, but then again I didn’t check the measurement. But you can adjust the size of the mat which is great. Yes, the tiles are thick and offer a safe space to play. However, they have a very slippery coating that makes them useless when kids are learning to crawl (the main reason why we purchased them). You also need to watch your step when wearing socks as they act like an ice rink! Would recommend you look elsewhere

I liked the colour (matches my lounge...) and the fact that the edges are straight. A number of others sold on amazon do not appear to be 'finished' when they are laid.Purchased for visit by 6-month old granddaughter who was just learning to sit - did not want her crashing her head on my stone floor if she toppled. Perfect, and can put it away in the storage bag until her next visit.

These mats seem great. They have a foam base and a harder top layer that are easy to wipe down and keep clean, but soft enough for the baby to play on and they aren’t slippery. Bought these ones as they seemed a perfect fit for our playpen (which they are but without the side pieces as these made it slightly too big - playpen is 180 x 120cm). Initially arrived with some damage to one of the puzzle pieces but this was replaced by the very next day so good customer service.
