Matrix2.0, Cookies & Cream, 2 Pounds

Most of us know that protein shakes really don't taste that good, I was having a hard time choking down some really well known brands and was about to give up on protein shakes because it didn't seem worth it to me. I'm picky, but I love cookies & cream flavored stuff so I thought I would give this a tryI ordered this product as well as three other protein shakes that were cookies and cream flavored, All of which were well known brands. This one TOOK THE CAKE. The others tasted like bland cream, This actually has little bits of cookie crunch in it so you don't get just cream (and the cream is good not bland)Also, I want to note that 90% of the other proteins I've purchased only give you about half the bottle of product so you basically get jipped. This product was not like that, Nice filled tubI like this protein in milk, But I also added it to an atkins chocolate shake and it was phenomenal!Do yourself a favor and get this, This product is much less expensive than some of the proteins you get out there and it's well worth it.

I've only ever tried one other protein powder before, and it was french vanilla from another brand and I HATED it. I'd only drink it if I completely masked the flavor with banana and cinnamon. Even with a blender, it was gritty and I couldn't finish it because it would settle. THIS PROTEIN, however, IS AMAZING! I got cookies and cream and it tastes like melted ice cream when mixed with almond milk. Very tasty, great texture (not gritty) and mixes easily in a blender bottle/shaker. It doesn't settle over time if you take a while to drink it (and even if it did, it would mix easily with a couple shakes). There are little cookie bits in it, but they're very subtle. I won't drink juice with pulp and these are much, much smaller and softer than that. Definitely recommend this protein, especially for the price!

I live surrounded by a national forest and do alot of outside work;so no gyms for me. But I do know that I need all the protein I can get. I've tried several products like SYNTRAX MATRIX; to me, they seem pretty much to be commodities. I can't tell them apart.(But there are review sites which have reviewer ratings)(If all are pretty much the same; maybe just go for price?)I get okay muscle development for a man in his 70's; but then I eat well/exercise too. But I can't testify as to SM's efficacy. I did like taste of some others versus this one, which is sort of bland. But Matrix's consistency in their container (no fine powder, just a seeming well-milled condition)makes the drink consistently smooth.And too, others in the Syntrax linehave different flavors, like nectar.It mixes well; but unless it's augmented with flavorings - for me, it's more creamy than cookied. Makes it kinda bland, not sweet. It's certainly creamy; it coats m'tongue.(A question: Would big doses of vitamin C significantlyadd to protein supplements? Or a mix of other vitamins?)

This is the best-tasting protein blend I've ever had, and I've been using protein mixes for about 20 years now. Also, I am lactose-sensitive, and this doesn't cause a reaction. Matrix products have consistently stayed high-quality over the years, and haven't given in to marketing gimmicks like many other brands have.Goat-whey protein is far better than cow-whey when it comes to the milk sugar/lactose load on your body, and I wish Matrix would create a goat-whey based blend - however even whey-blends such as these work well, to give you the benefit of longer-acting protein absorption. For me, that also translates to less "protein-fatigue" - the tired feeling you can get after ingesting high amounts of fast-acting protein in the higher-quality whey-isolates.Just wish they had a 5-pounder of Cookies and Cream. Otherwise, a highly recommended flavor and brand.

It's chunky even in a blender

i love it! it tastes delicious and it really blends easily like it says. i mean really easily, less than 20 seconds but i keep stirring it just to be sure. the price is worth it and the product gives me results! i have noticed a difference in my muscles and i will continue buying it. it has the best flavors that i like (peanut butter and cookies and cream!)

I recommend using a blender and low carb ice cream to mix with this. After drinking this a few days I got sick of the taste. I bought this a really long time ago and still have it lol. I don't like it too much but for those of you looking for a low carb shake, this is it. I suggest buying a drainer to drain out the chocolate peices too. 3/5 ( :/ )
