Another beautiful plate, this company never disappoints. 💕

I was thrilled to discover this plate to add to my collection. I thought I had them all, but as I was checking out the Botanic Gardens Birds collection recently, this one popped up, too. I actually like it better than the one that I've always considered my favorite. If you are new to Portmeirion, you are in for something special. My experience with Portmeirion as a whole has been a good one. In the 40+ years that I have owned this line, I have had only two "casualties" with neither being a fault of the manufacture of the dish. These dishes have held up to everyday use and are still almost as beautiful as the day I got them. I expect the same from this recent purchase and I highly recommend that anyone interested in Portmeirion to give this set a try. They are truly beautiful.

Must be seconds. Mine had a large black speck under the the glaze, it’s going back for that price.

i have collected quite a few of the portmeirion dishes now, and this one wasn't in the set i ordered...just had to have it too. These plates have a good glaze on them besides being beautiful...Just an aside...i also purchased a set of 6 bowls with bird images on them...they're nice but wish i had stuck with just the botanicals. I use all of these for everyday, not just special occasions
