I honestly didn’t know how much I needed a dehumidifier until I got this one. It’s compact, quiet, and works way better than I expected. I bought it mainly for my bedroom, and within just a few hours, I could feel a huge difference in the air—less stuffy, more fresh, and no more waking up feeling sticky or congested.It’s super easy to use—just plug it in and let it do its thing. I love that the tank is easy to remove and empty, and it even has an auto shut-off when it’s full (which is a great bonus for peace of mind). I’ve been using this in my bathroom, and I’m seriously impressed! It’s the perfect size—compact enough to sit on the counter, but powerful enough to keep moisture under control in a humid space.Since I started using it, I’ve noticed a big difference: less condensation on the mirror, no more musty smell, and my towels even dry faster. It runs quietly, which I really appreciate, and the auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind if I forget to empty it right away.It’s super easy to use—just plug it in and let it do its thing. I empty the tank every couple of days, and it’s amazing how much water it pulls from the air. Really great customer service. The first unit was not functional. Tried to use inside a car and after 12 hours it barely had any water in the collection bin. The new unit they sent had a 120v adapter plug rather than a USB plug in and maybe that's what helped.The new unit does dehumidify much better. Used in a small camper and it cut humidity and condensation on windows noticeably. Still it lacked a bit of dehumidifying power that we could have used, but it's good for lite use.I'm glad someone is designing/producing small units like this, there is not much else on the market this size

This unit is small and can easily be placed in a room without being obtrusive. The write up about the unit says it uses about 40 watts of electricity, so there will be a slight cost when in use. It does generate a tiny bit of heat. The fan has one speed and the closest comparison I can think of regarding the noise level would be the cooling fan on a laptop when it's running at close to full speed. It's not unpleasant and reminds me a bit of the white noise machines, so we have quickly gotten used to it. The lighting effects can easily be turned off, but they automatically turn on anytime you turn the unit back on, so two taps of the light button and they go back off.This small unit will not perform like a full size, floor model, dehumidifier. (some negative reviewers seem to think it should have performed in a comparable fashion) Those full size, floor units use an air conditioner type system so they dehumidify the air very quickly, but are very large and much, much louder and expensive. We had one in our full size home for years and you could literally see the humidity level begin to drop on a hygrometer within 30 minutes or so. This unit will not perform to that level due to it's small size and the mechanism used to remove moisture. We've had it over a week now and over a 24 hour period it removes about 3/4 of a cup of water from the air. Of course, the humidity level and temperature will dictate any increase or decrease in the numbers we saw.This unit is meant for small spaces of less than 250 sq feet. We have it in a bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. But since we leave the bedroom door open and have central air, that means it essentially is dealing with the whole apartment of about 900 sq feet. Don't expect to feel a marked difference in the humidity level in a large space. I would imagine in an appropriately small space, with doors closed and no central air, this unit would make the area feel dryer.Our issue is condensation build up on our single pane windows in the winter. Even just removing 3/4 cup of water per day means that there will be that much less water in the air to condense on the windows. We've now decided to purchase an additional unit to place in the second bedroom at the opposite end of the apartment from where the first one is placed. Our hope is between the two units we will see a marked difference in our humidity levels. Two of these units are much cheaper and quieter than a full size, floor model.I can recommend this unit if you purchase it with the understanding of it's limitations.UPDATE:We purchased an additional unit for our 900 square foot apartment. The two bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the apartment and we placed one of these dehumidifiers in each room. They both have been pulling about 3/4 of a cup of water out of the air every 24 hours, with inside temperature at 72 and initial relative humidity at about 64 percent. So with the two units we are eliminating about 1 !/2 cups per 24 hours. We might see a drop in the hygrometer reading to 59 or 60 percent occasionally in that time. Not comparable to a big floor dehumidifier, but much cheaper and quieter. While they have not eliminated the condensation issue, I think it has helped to reduce the overall amount of water condensing on our windows during the winter.

I bought this almost two years ago and it still works great. I’ve used it periodically throughout the year (whenever it gets more humid in my area), but when it’s on I have it running for days almost weeks at a time. The automatic shut off is great, and the color options are a nice feature. This is perfect for smaller areas, as it is definitely not going to be as successful if used for trying to dehumidify large rooms or an entire home. If you need this for smaller spaces as an affordable option to stay on top of humidity it’s fantastic! I would happily purchase again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This dehumidifier is the perfect size for my bathroom countertop. I live in the southern USA where it is very humid, so shower time is even more so. Using this dehumidifier prevents the steam from damaging my walls and eliminates the steam quickly. There’s little to no sound and the tank holds quite a bit of water. There’s also a light selection of colors or solid color choice as well. It’s a super cool item to have, now my sons want one for their bathroom as well.

Great find! We bought two, one for our camper & one for our bathroom at home! The light changing color is a great feature. It has really helped with the moisture in the air in both areas. It's easy to use & easy to clean. Great quality!
