I initially had some trouble with the S/W setup. The physical installation is easy once you find the line side switch. I did have one switch die prematurely. I had some trouble setting up the 2nd switch. They replaced both switches. The setup problem turned out to be me trying to use on a light with 4 switches. This requires 4way switches and this device doesn't work properly if there are 4way switches in the circuit. So it was really user error. They worked closely with me to figure this out and they were prompt and polite in our debug conversation. When installed with a light with 2 switches, the only configuration they support, the switch setup and operates smoothly and easily.

Not sure why this is a frequently returned item. I was able to install it with no problem. As soon as I turned power back on and searched a new device in the smart life app, it found it. Works great. Only wish 4 little wires were included instead of having to strip off wires from the wall side.

Switch works well and is easy to setup. Hooled up for my porch light and setup a schedule so it can auto shut off. It works well. I have no complaints. It works well with Alexa personal assistant.

WeMo devices were the most unreliable WiFi devices I’ve ever used. They constantly disconnected and were difficult and time-consuming to reconnect; these are 2.4ghz band devices and they were always confusing it with the 5ghz band. WeMo are inherently stupid devices. These Gosund devices set up in less than 2 minutes and STAY connected. They work with IFTTT and other smart systems*. Good price point too.*Note though, I think you need a specific (slightly more expensive) tupeof Gosund device if you want to connect to the Apple Home Kit.

Seems like a nice dimmer. It integrated with Smart Things easily and it does turn on and off. The problem is the dimmer does not work. It doesn't respond on the physical switch and it is greyed out on the app. I ordered 2 of these and both have to be returned. The app did do a firmware update, but no change in operation.

The media could not be loaded. This smart switch was very easy to get setup with my wifi and app as well as amazon Alexa. I really like how I am able to control the light from the phone very easily. It has a great build and value for money.

I installed the switch where another brand had been installed and had failed after 6 years of service. When I installed this switch and flipped the breaker on the light came on and the breaker tripped after approximately 3 seconds. After several attempt of switching the traveler wire back and forth I gave up and put a dumb 3 way switch back to original wiring. I took the gosund switch to another 3 way switch which had a working and installed with no problem.I called customer service at gosund and explained the problem and the only thing I could think of was the neutral wire I was using was from another circuit in the same 3 gang box (two of the light in that box are on another circuit). The customer service guy I was talking with ask me to send a picture showing the way I wired it and the box to which I said no I wasn't going to reinstall the switch and pull all those wire out when I all needed was a simple answer to my question about the neutral wire. He asked for my email address and said he already had my phone number. To date I have received no answer which is over a week. I would like to buy another switch but won't unless I know it has a chance of working. So inconclusion the switch works great but customer service is not the best.
