Student's Guide to the IET Wiring Regulations (Electrical Regulations)

I purchased this book as a guide to help my Electrical Students. I found this a great resource and it has helped them understand what they are learning about. As a bonus it has questions for them research in the Regulations and also the answers to check their own answers. I would be recommending that all electrical apprentices get this book.

Overall a great guide for anyone that is starting out as an apprentice or someone with experience that wants to refresh their knowledge. The book is very detailed but simple to understand and absorb. It covers most aspects that a general electrician will encounter on a regular basis and paired with an on site guide and a copy of bs7671 makes a excellent revision tool. The only section of this book I found lacking was rcd testing.

Excellent book a must have for students and anyone who wants to learn about the subject

A. Great book for trainees to go with others

This book does a great job at explaining the On-Site Guide, and is easy to read. It is full of colourful illustrations as well as being up to date.

Students studying for their first exam for the wiring regulations will find this book invaluable, this book gives you easy to understand explanations of the concepts required to pass your exam. Understanding these concepts clearly and having a good understanding of the 18th edition's structure and be able to navigate that structure in a timely manner are all you need to pass the exam comfortably.
