First, let me say that I am an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician with 47 years experience in the auto repair industry. Not many tools really impress me. However, I would easilly place these little gadgets into my "Top 100". They are listed as "drill extensions" presumably meaning for 1/4 inch hex drive drill bits. But I actually bought them to use with my 1/4 inch hex drive nut drivers. They work well for both. I found that the collar will spin around the shaft freely when the bit is locked in place. This comes in handy because the collar can be used as a hand-held guide to stabilize the bit...hold the collar with one hand and squeeze the trigger on the drill with the other...Anyway, the collars are kinda bulky and therefore, not so great if you are working in a really tight space. But they function very easilly and when the bit is locked in, it doesn't move and cannot be pulled out until the collar is pulled back. The materials seem to be of rather good quality. I believe they will take some considerable abuse without failing. All in all, this is a very nice set for the price and I highly recommend it.

I love these. They work perfectly for hard to reach screws.

Bought this because I needed the long piece for a specific project and it worked great. One of the pieces has too much runout but not enough to make it unusable or enough of a problem to return. Well worth the money.

Bought these to extend my drill bit to run Electrical wires for my house build. They lasted about 3 minutes. Collers broke off.

Pretty useful tools. Need to mount a bracket but the bits to short and the impact driver to big. Well this set solves many of those reach problems.

Had a use for an extender to get my drill and screw bits in a tight spot and these fit the task perfectly. Magnetic grasp is good. Good price.

I like them but I notice there is a definite wobble in the longer on shorter ones are better. The red tip has a locking end with a magnet I believe.
