This mount was designed around the common hole pattern used for old school deck mounts like Scotty, RAM, Cannon, Attwood, and more. The goal was to make updates easier if someone already had installed a Scotty deck mount but now wants a wider variety of track mounted accessory options then the MightyMount Switch makes it so no additional holes are needed in the kayak.

The hole pattern on the MightyMount Switch will line up with the four holes on the hoodoo element 100s. For hardware, since the thread size and depth of the mounting holes varies between kayak brand you will need to find the right screws at the hardware store, but should be hard to find.

Q: Is this the mount required for the aquaglide blackfoot with universal (ums) deck mount

The MightyMount Switch would be needed if you wanted to attach any YakAttack track-mounted accessories. To install this on the universal deck mounts use the four shorter stainless screws included with the MighytMount Switch. After installing you are able to attach popular track-mounted accessories like a YakAttack Omega Rod Holder, MultiMount Cup Holder, VISICarbon Pro, as well as other track-mounted accessories from other brands.

Q: Can this be used with the paddle holder accessory

The YakAtack RotoGrip Paddle Holder is compatible with this product and any other YakAttack track/MightyMount. The MightMount Switch is also compatible with any other YakAttack product using a single t-bolt like rod holders, fish finder mounts, cup holder, camera mounts, and more.
