Best Matcha I've had
I'm not an expert inatcha, but I have tried different brands before, generally culinary grade Matcha. This one is the best that I've tried so far. The color is bright green, the flavor is excellent and not too bitter. I like to make a latte with plant juice, but it's also delicious with just a bit of honey in it. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of this Matcha. I think it's a good price for the quality.

A high quality matcha to add to your collection
The texture of this matcha is finely milled. It smells very nutty and umami right upon opening the bag, and when mixed with hot water I get a lot of nutty savory notes. Mixed in a latte, it is not very grassy but the color is bright green and very beautiful. You can taste the quality in this as a little powder goes a long way -- not bitter, just umami and tender. I do not get any astringency, sourness, or bitterness. I will definitely be repurchasing and trying other varieties from this manufacturer.

Perfect for lattes but smells like seaweed
I got the Kyoto Uji Matcha, and I think it's worth it! The powder itself is green and super vibrant and not yellow at all (cheaper matchas tend to be slightly yellow from oxidation (aka they're not that fresh)). After mixing it with water and sugar, it smelled a lot like roasted seaweed which is fine but it DID have the salty, ocean smell that almost reached the territory of fishy imo. As a latte, it's really smooth, and has a well balanced flavor. A bit of sweetness and a bit of umami plus a tiny hint of roasted notes which might be from the seaweed smell of it. Definitely makes a nice sweet latte though if you're adding sugar. You'll be able to taste the matcha flavor without it being over powering and bitter. Overall it's great and worth the money but be aware that it does smell like seaweed in case you're sensitive to smells which is why I'm only doing 4/5 stars. Also if you need a latte recipe, TRUST ME ON THIS!!!!whisk 3 g of matcha with 5 g of sugar and 50 ml of water. Once fully combined, add in 20 g of sweetened condensed milk, 200 ml of milk, and then some ice. you'll get a really creamy matcha latte that's on the sweeter side. highly recommend

One of the best Matcha powders that I have tried!!
I have tried many different ceremonial-grade powders on Amazon, but a lot of them fall short. This one has an amazing color and an amazing taste. People are complaining that it tastes better, but it does not taste bitter; it tastes exactly how much it should taste. I will continue buying this, and my favorite part is that it is heavy metal tested and organic, which is exactly what I was looking for!

On my second bag!
This is my second bag and I’m very impressed! 6 stars if the price came down to 30 but I am very satisfied and appreciate the fast shipping. Great earthy and nutty notes, beautiful green quality matcha.

Best ceremonial grade matcha on amazon
Best ceremonial grade matcha. I've tried several ("ceremonial grade"), and everytime I come back to this one, because it's color and taste is superior. Amazon let me know I've bought this one 7 times already, and will continue to do so, because I cannot find a better ceremonial grade matcha. The only time I've had equivalent quality of color and taste was from a small, single use matcha packet straight from Japan.
