Gift for flatmate with asthma.
Was a gift for flatmate who has asthma and is at risk of covid. This product is a good tool to keep the air cleaner in his room and allow him to sleep better.Boxing was very nice, with minimal plastic packaging (something I put value in).Sleek design and not too loud!

Less visible dust in the room.
I bought this as I didn’t want to keep moving my ‘blue’ branded one room to room while my partner had Covid to help reduce the airborne virus while working from home. (I didn’t catch covid, I’m sure this helped but it wasn’t the only factor. We didn’t isolate from each other either)There is a lot less dust visible in the room and with HomeKit I’ve set it to go on full for 2 hours max when no-one is home and then to low when someone is home. If you don’t use automations or scenes on it then HomeKit is pointless.Alex works fine too, but it’s very rarely used. The lights shine up when you spray deodorant too to show poor air quality. However, there are only 2 speeds. Super-loud and not so silent. The Blue branded one is not heard at night and this one is. Due to this we keep it int he lounge and set it to turn off when we turn the Apple TV on as you can hear it while watching tv.Personally, I wouldn’t buy another of this brand unless they make it quieter.

Loud electrical hum
The worst thing about this purifier was that it made a loud electrical hum when on the lowest fan setting and got louder as the fan speed was increased. This made it simply unusable if you are in the room, which for a WFH environment, isn't good at all.The purifier felt rather cheap feeling for the price, thin plastics with unaligned seems at the power connector which made it hard to plug the lead in as the casing was held covering the slot. The Apple HomeKit integration was very poor, only allowing you to turn it on and off, no changing of fan speed, setting timers etc...You're better off getting a cheaper air purifier and buying a smart plug with HomeKit compatibility if you want a Siri compatible air purifier. The app felt rather clunky and unintuitive to use, and kept forcing subscription-based features down my throat. Thus, I have returned the purifier and purchased a Levoit air purifier instead which was cheaper and better quality.

Seems O but.....
Seems to work fine, was easy to setup, i keep this one in the bedroom, a little loud on low, but you get used to it. it does have a cheap feel to it, very thin plastic base and very light. One thing I didn't realise until after purchase, to see the air quality for yesterday and back further, you need to subscribe to their monthly/yearly service. You can only see what's happening today, come midnight, you can't see previous days without subscribing. Philips is much better (I also have a Philips downstair and it works a treat).

Very poor look elsewhere
If you want quiet go eleswhere, if you want a decent app go eleswhere, very very loud compared to my philips unit and also you need a subscription to use all the features on the app. Feel very cheap feel as well, will be returning asap

Smart and effective
Doesn’t take up too much space and whisper quiet at the default/low, level. Switches to boost/high speed when the sensors detect this is required (eg cooking nearby) which is of course louder. Using the app you can also set it to activate boost mode when you leave the home.I have added mine to HomeKit which allows me to operate it using Siri voice commands, etc… and is part of my “goodnight” automated routine to make sure unnecessary devices aren’t left on overnight.

Does not do the job
Didn't help with my allergies. I think it might be okay for collecting dust but definitely not for pollen. i got a bigger and better air filter from Ikea for less than half the price.

Works way better than expected!
After just running it for a few hours I could already no longer smell the litter box! Amazing machine! So nice that it works with SmartThings as well!
