Oddly perfect
This product was purchased to supplement the minimal sun visors on my 2009 Porsche 911. They work as advertised, but when stored their added bulk prevented the visors from being easily clipped to the headliner. Since I had bought a pair, I tried using the driver’s unit on the passenger side and vice versa. This worked. When not in use they are now visible and exposed on the “down” side of the visors, but this is an acceptable trade off as they’re not unattractive (IMHO). Incidentally, the vanity mirrors are not easily available while these are installed, no matter which way you mount them. Again, this is fine with me.Overall, high quality materials and excellent design and execution.

Affordable. Easy to install in front or behind the visor (choose model correctly!)
The pulldown idea is great. but when I pull down the screen, I feel like i'm going to rip it out if I pull a bit to sudden. The screen feels a bit too flimsy and is a bit smaller than I hoped for.On the positive side, it does install BEHIND the mirror (see picture), AND it does not have a hinge that will break or become loose after a few months of use. So it gets 4 stars (barely).Make sure you order the correct model, depending on whether you want it behind the mirror or in front of the visor.

Good in theory but could use some tweaks
Dropping my kid off at the car line in school in the morning perfectly positions the sun to blind me as I drive. I searched for some kind of visor extension and this popped up as the most highly rated and affordable, so I nabbed one for me and my husband (he got the zipper version). So I think in theory it works fine... but it totally depends on your visor, the mirror placement (if you want to still use your mirror) and what you're using it for. My (non-zipper) visor allowed for the visor to be flipped so you could place it on either side of the vizor and the side blocker to extend on the same side. Except... no matter how tightly you place the straps to stick together, it's gonna jiggle. I think maybe a buckled loop that you can tighten or loosen would be a better hold. This is pretty difficult to explain, but there's a small loop on either side of the visor that you can loop the Vecro strap to adjust which side of the car visor to strap it to. However, the zipper visor does NOT have the small loop on both sides, so you can't put it on the driver's car visor without blocking the mirror. You just have to block it.Also, the side visor is a very long, thin piece of black, opaque plastic. It's very long (longer than the extension that's inside of my car visor)... but it ends up just blocking the rearview mirror. Who would ever use this? Or why not make this a super dark but transparent piece of plastic?Anyway, we're gonna keep it, but I think $20-23 a piece is too much for what it is.

Works As Promoted!
We purchased a second visor after the first worked so well. The illustrations in the promotional material are accurate. I hardly ever wear sunglasses while driving now. I love the fact that you get a wide shaded view. Follow instructions and pull the bottom of the visor close to your face after the shaded portion is extended. Use this every day and love it!

Very Sharp Edges. Be careful!!
The Sun visor is fine, it does help a little bit while driving when the sun is blinding you; however is not fully sun proof. You still get blinded a little, it just reduces it a bit..I'm giving it two stars because this thing sliced my finger open while I was driving in the highway.I had it closed and made a motion with my hand and my pinky finger hit the edge of the visor and it cut it open. I was bleeding everywhere while driving. This makes me think it is not very safe, what if you had a teenager/child in the passenger sit or just playing in your car and they did that? The seller needs to make this product more safe, and add some padding around the edges or something. I'm sure this is not the first time someone cuts themselves really bad on this thing while driving.

Reduces glare, small but useful
The device works, but it is smaller than I imagined it would be.
