Hi there--The PackLite Nova USB shines at up to 75 Lumens, which is about 125 sq ft of lighting area on the highest setting. The light lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge. Definitely! The PackLite Nova USB has multiple brightness levels, and shines up to 75 lumens. Many users use the Medium (12-16 hours on a full charge) or High (6-8 hours on a full charge) settings for reading. Thanks for your question!

Q: Once fully charged and placed into dark LT storage will the charge keep?

These lanterns are designed to hold 80% of the battery charge in storage for up to 2 years. However, we recommend taking them out to check charge every few months to ensure that the units are charged when needed. Thanks for your question!
