One lens to replace 5 lenses
One lens to rule them allI had considered sigma as the first choice but the VR and additional zoom that comes with tamron has made my decision to go with TamronVery good sharpness and the 70mm range gives wonderful potrait

Best lens to upgrade from kit lens
For a year or so, I've been using the 16-55 and the 55-210 variable aperture kit lenses with my A6100. But ever since I've started using these 17-70 lens, I've noticed a massive upgrade in the quality of my images. The wide 2.8 fixed aperture is invaluable when it comes to low light. Its a one lens to rule them all

Good but far from perfect
Good lens. But has two issues. One is the size and weight which I can ignore. The other issue is the lens stabilization not working properly on my fx30 body on a gimbal. Let's see if I can make it work handheld.

One of the best wide angle zoom lens from Tamron but APS-C
The images are sharp. The auto focus on this lens is top notch. The build qulity of the lens is amazing but on the heavier side. The low light performance of the lens is good, could have been better. Overall value for money.
