Don’t bother with the dupes. This is just the best.I’m fostering kittens and you’d never know. Not even the allergic friends who’ve come over. That’s how well this purifies the air.

Highly Effective Original Filters
We’ve been using these replacement filters since 2017 for our two Air Mega 400s, alongside two other large air purifiers from a different brand. These original filters are outstanding and do a much better job of keeping our home’s air clean compared to aftermarket options (we use air quality sensors to monitor particle levels). After trying a few non-branded filters, it was clear they couldn’t match the performance. Stick with the originals and be rest assured about the quality of air in your home (or wherever you’re using your 400/400s).

Great
Better then the cheaper knock off brands.

Original and works well, little expensive.
Not sure much to say since these are original so work as expected. I dock one star because they are expensive and may use aftermarket next time as a lot cheaper but if you want OEM and don't mind the price these are great.

You Get What You Pay For
The whole idea behind buying an “air scrubber” as I call them is to purify the interior air. So why would one spend all that money on a Coway and only to go cheap on the air filter system? Yeah, shop around Amazon. There’s cheaper no-name filters out there definitely. But what’s the point? The filtration system is just as important as the built in detection system as they’re designed to work in unison. These filters are the “real deal”, certification and lab testing and all. And besides that, it’s not like you’re replacing them every month. So for me to invest and additional $100 per year and have peace of mind knowing it’s doing what the filters were originally designed to do is worth it. And this is the cheapest place here I’ve found for these factory replacements too. Two thumbs up from me.

A necessary evil, but always buy OEM.
I love the Airmega HEPA filter — we keep it running on low 24/7, and crank it up to high during “smoke season” (which sadly has become an almost annual occurrence in the Pacific Northwest).Based on that usage, we generally have to replace the filter element every 6-9 months.I will only buy OEM (this product). Visually there is no way to identify whether a cheaper, third party replacement element is actually certified — I.e., whether it will indeed remove what it’s supposed to remove from the air. This means that I’m paying 2-3x more in price for the Coway, but it is what it is.One thing to note — this item includes a complete set of 2 filter elements, one for each side. So don’t buy two — you only need one!

OEM
The Coway store on Amazon is not ran by Coway, but by Amazon which you can tell by where it comes from in addition to there being the official store link. Amazon buys a lot of product of whatever they think will sell to allow much faster delivery of goods. They don't buy knock offs and sell under the Company name so you can trust these filters are legit and much cheaper than from Coway as Amazon pays much less to buy bulk which then translates that savings to the consumer as well. In addiiton, the merv 13 rating is a typo it's merv 17 according to Amazon themselves. The filters specification numbers don't filter to the same specifications you see on the machine because it's a collective process of filtration so that's why it seems like they aren't the same...remember their machine setup and the pre filter adds to those filtration numbers.
