Everything appears as it should, no defective hooks, but I can't get over the super random writing on the bag. <Mustache> THE GREATEST HAPPINESS IN LIFE. They could've just left it plain, but someone said, "you know what would make this even better? Writing that said THE GREATEST HAPPINESS IN LIFE" and then someone else said, "...add a mustache." Amazing!

I can't put this set down. I wish I had more yarn. I'm still a beginner but this is my favorite set of hooks of the 4/5 sets that I have.They're easy to hold and because of the width of them, my hands don't cramp nearly as much while using them

For the price point, you really can't say much. It includes everything you need to start crocheting, a wide range of hook size, scissors, stitch markers. It is a decent kit for beginner, but after the beginner phase, you probably want to invest in something better.I notice that after making two projects, the coating on the hook is piling off. I can feel that tiny crack with my finger. The smoothness of the hook is inconsistent in this kit: my 4.5 is super smooth, yet the 6.0 is matte finished and yarn does not glide on the hook.

These hooks were a great buy. They are extremely comfortable for me to hold. I have MS so I need something that won’t hurt my hands. These did just that. I love them!

Crochet hooks looked good. Scissors seem to be very sharp, so be careful. Stitch markers weren’t the same colors as shown at purchase. I had 5 pink, 3 yellow, 2 purple, and 1 blue. Annoying issue: the row counter was hard to turn on one side, and didn’t show up evenly, but worked perfectly fine on the other side. It may just be cheap materials, I’m not sure. I didn’t notice anything else wrong with this product and overall, I’d recommend if you’re new to crocheting.
