Grew Fast
Worked Great!!! Had a few areas that needed patched. I prepped the soil to loosen it up, applied the seeds & then raked it a bit to get the seed under the dirt & covered with straw. Watered it 3 times a day & it has been growing in real well. 3 weeks in & it is high as the rest of the older grass, just thinner grass blades as of now.

Grass Patch
Product worked as advertised. Just scuff the a t ea, place and water. Nature will do the rest. Keep the seeds moist.

Good seed
I broadcasted this seed last fall as an overseeding project for my lawn. I had pretty decent germination by broadcasting with a spreader. In some areas where I didn't need complete overseeding I tossed the seed out by hand. I didn't really notice any improvement over other fescue seeds. It came up like any seed I've put down. I've got some hard spots where grass has died and I didn't rake them up before broadcasting, hoping the seed might find a home anyway and it didn't work in those areas. That's my fault for being lazy! It's a good product, but if this costs more than other grass seed, I wouldn't spend more for this particular product.

Did not germinate at all!
Did not grow! I followed every step, yard was level, rocks removed, tilled and amended. I watered 3 times daily and made sure no one could walk on the area. Nothing. Three weeks in and not a sprout. Maybe the bag got too hot or cold in transit and the seeds died? Super disappointed in all the work and effort for nothing.

Slow and low germination
Edit: changing my review as seed started to germinate after about 3 weeks. Not excellent results by any means but not 0% like original review. They sprouted better in the shade areas than the sun.Seeded almost 2 weeks ago with two 5.6 lb bags. Raked areas, put down seed, covered with "lawn soil." Watered daily in the spring (no extreme cold or hot temperatures). 0% germination. Like literally not one sprout with two full bags put down on three different lawns in my yard (back, side, front). Wish there was some way to return but obviously not.

Good fast growing grass seed.
Follow the instructions and hope it rains. Then the grass will sprout in a week or so.

Product that finally worked!
For the past 28 years, I have tried unsuccessfully maintaining a beautiful lawn to complement my wife's stunning gardens on our one-acre property. I experimented with various grass seed brands, including some expensive options, but with no success. However, this past summer, I decided to try to improve my lawn’s appearance again and purchased Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix. To minimize potential financial losses if it didn't work, I bought only one small bag and seeded a section of our lawn that struggled to grow thick grass. This area included a small dirt hill that was particularly resistant to grass growth.I carefully followed the package's instructions. I raked out all the dead matter and adhered to the spreading guidelines. I paid particular attention to the watering recommendations. Within three weeks, delicate, soft grass began to sprout throughout the entire section, and a month and a half later, the area was lush and green, including the bare hillside. I plan to use this seed again for the rest of the lawn. The manufacturer advises that the seed is treated with an anti-fungicide (Mefenoxam). Therefore, it’s crucial to read the label carefully and follow the planting, watering, and cleanup recommendations. Since my dog likes to dig in the soil with her mouth, I decided to err on the side of caution by keeping her off the seeded section for three weeks.
