Not suitable for cloning 2TB M.2 SSDs
I bought this since I needed to clone my 2TB M.2 drive & this was cheaper compared to 2TB SSDs (both SATA & M.2 formats). Unfortunately, Clonezilla stated that this drive has less number of sectors compared to my 2TB M.2 SSD.I'm just now using it to backup some documents on my PC.

⭐ 1 Star - A Major Disappointment – Stay Away from Discounted Tech!
I decided to wait almost 11 months before writing this review, hoping to give the product a fair chance. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. After just a few months of use, the drive started slowing down significantly. It would write at normal speeds for a short while, then drop to nearly zero, making even basic file transfers frustrating. Eventually, I encountered the dreaded "can't read from source file or disk" error, and the drive became unusable.I ran tests using chkdsk and CrystalDiskInfo, which revealed bad sectors and a high pending sector count, meaning the drive was physically degrading and couldn't be trusted with my data anymore. This drive is simply unreliable, especially considering that I have three other 5TB drives (bought over 3 years ago), all of which are still working perfectly. In contrast, this WD Passport has been an abysmal experience. My advice: Do NOT be tempted by discounted tech products. This drive broke down in a matter of months, and it's simply not worth the risk. Be careful and ALWAYS buy from the original store to ensure quality and reliability.Save yourself the trouble, and avoid this drive altogether.

My 3rd WD external HDD
I bought the 5TB one and it giving me 4.85 TB on most computers. Quite robust but is not being read by my new 4k Videocon TV. Have to transfer films to usb pendrives that are read by the TV. I store a lot of media on it and it sees rough use and does its job well. Suggest storing in a dedicated HDD hard case. On the whole a dependable product which should see around 2-3 years moderate to extensive use. Love the item - use it every day !!!
