...but I didn't buy it for HER! I am 72 years old and have been experiencing lower back pain for a while, exercising and trying to maintain good posture and proper lifting practices throughout the day. I have a lumbar support pillow from my office chair at work that I use while watching TV on the sofa in the den upstairs. It only covers the lumbar area and presses into the soft sofa cushion back which then supports my upper back as well. However it doesn't work so well on my recliner chair with a less squishy back where I spend a lot of time reading so after doing extensive research I bought this lumbar support pillow which also has upper back support. It works to perfection on my recliner giving me excellent back support from top to bottom. The problem is my wife tried it out, was impressed with the support and comfort and now opts for MY chair instead of the sofa when she's in the living room chilling out. Note to potential purchasers: despite some negative comments, I found this cushion gives excellent lumbar support, the Goldilocks of lumbar cushions--not too much, not too little but just right. It comes vacuum packed and compressed in a heavy plastic bag which is contained within another plastic tube with a zipper. True you have to cut it out of the inner bag which you won't need again anyway. And you have to let it sit for a few minutes to decompress to its functional size, the same as you need to do with any memory foam products that are usually compressed for shipping. I noticed no objectionable odors and the product seems sturdy and well made. I (and the wife) look forward to many years of increased back comfort and would recommend this product to anyone else who has lower back pain. I find it really helps.

I love this back support pillow. I use it for my gaming chair, office chair and even in my truck. It’s comfortable and high quality material. I’ve washed it a few times and no problems. I recommend others to purchase this product as well.

This was the perfect size for a recliner. It gives the lumbar support and continues up to just below the head rest on large recliner. Very comfortable. It has reduced back pain while in chair dramatically.

I purchased this back support pillow for my office chair because I wanted the correct depth to the memory foam for more support. The pillow is perfect, however the cover had to be thrown away. I removed the cover to hand wash it and replace it back onto the pillow. I discovered that once removed, the cover is impossible to replace back onto the pillow. It did not shrink, it's just too small and the zipper area does not allow enough room to even try to place it on again. I am using the memory foam support pillow though because I placed a velvet pillow case over it that fit perfectly.

I’m slowly recovering from a painful back injury that includes moderate sciatica. My physical therapist strongly suggested that I support my lumbar area when sitting in my recliner. I’ve tried several different pillows/ cushions but none gave me the support plus comfort I was looking for. Other lumbar pillows I’ve had never did the trick. So I looked on Amazon and after many excellent reviews I chose this lumbar pillow. Omg!! It provides the perfect support and is incredibly comfortable. It’s firm and yet has a softness too. It supports my lumbar area and my mid and upper back too. It’s sides are slightly curved and feels like it wraps you in comfy support. It works perfectly in my big recliner. I want to get one for my office chair too. It’s very well made. If you have back pain and are looking for support don’t hesitate to try this lumbar pillow. You won’t be sorry.

So some highback chairs are not providing proper support. Big rig drivers know what I'm talking about. No more wadding up a sweat shirt.your neck will feel great now!It's a lumber support upside down. The straps work mostly. My top strap was slipping off during large bumps in the road, so I secured it with a string down to the seat frame. That's it.

Bought this for my chair to get some relief for my back pain my t7 vertebrae is crooked. Had to put it in my car cuz I don't want to return it and wait to get my money back so now I just use it in my car because it's so hard that you have to put a bunch of pressure into it to get it to be soft if that makes any sense in my truck I can put a bunch of pressure into it by applying my feet onto the ground and pressing my back into it to where it sinks in. Can't do that in my chair and my back started hurting tremendously trying to use it in my chair and I bought it for just my chair so disappointed.
