More Than Just a Battery Reset Tool – It’s a BMW Must-Have
I originally bought the OBDLink CX to register a new battery on my BMW X5, and it absolutely nailed it. The process with Bimmercode was smooth and intuitive — connected instantly via Bluetooth 5.1, and had the new battery registered in just a few taps. But what really surprised me is how much more this little adapter offers. It’s become one of my favorite car tools.Beyond battery work, it opens up a whole world of customizations through Bimmercode. I’ve tweaked everything from welcome lights to digital speed readouts — it’s like unlocking hidden features your car was just waiting to show off.But it’s not just about coding. The diagnostic accuracy is excellent — clear, fast, and reliable. I’ve used it for reading and clearing codes on my BMW, and to my surprise, it also worked perfectly with my Ford F-150, pulling up diagnostic data and system info without a hitch. The compatibility across brands is a huge plus and makes this tool even more valuable. It’s compact, sturdy, doesn’t drain your battery, and connects reliably every time. Whether you’re coding custom features, doing a battery swap, or just checking up on your car’s health — this tool does it all with ease.If you own a BMW (or honestly, any car with OBD-II), the OBDLink CX is worth every penny. It’s the kind of tool you buy for one job, then keep discovering reasons to love it even more.

Exactly What I Needed – Reliable and Easy to Use on my 2017 BMW F30
I’ve been using the OBDLink CX for a couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I mainly bought it to use with BimmerCode for my BMW, and it works perfectly. The connection is quick and stable, and I haven’t had any issues with disconnects or lag, even during extended use. Now I have Bimmerlink as well. What I really like is how compact it is. Once it's plugged in, you barely notice it’s there. It doesn't get in the way at all, and I feel comfortable just leaving it connected full-time. Pairing it with my phone was also very straightforward — it connected right away without any complicated setup. The coding process felt smooth and safe, which was important to me since I’m not a tech expert. It gave me confidence to make small tweaks to my car without worrying about messing something up.Overall, it does exactly what I hoped it would. It’s fast, reliable, and easy to use — a solid purchase I’d recommend to anyone looking for a dependable OBD2 tool specialized for BMW.Now I have auto folding side mirror, digital speed indicator, turn off I-drive when door is opened. Got smarter Bimmer now and more fun to drive.

Super reliable, fast, quality OBD2 adapter
Got this for 2 cars - 2013 335is & 2022 X3 M40i. Works flawlessly in both. Connection is super fast and works perfectly with Bimmerlink & Bimmercode. Super reliable, never had a dropped connection. Seems much faster than a cheap OBD2 adapter I've used before. Great for Bimmercode coding, super quick. And also great with Bimmerlink for reading codes, monitoring, etc. Also love that I can keep it plugged in even with the car off, since it has a low power mode and shuts itself off.If youre on the fence about spending a little more for a quality OBD2 adapter, just do it, it's worth it

Works well with BMW/MINI
Ok, this works flawlessly for a BMW or MINI. It connects without any issues and is able to work with Biimer Link and Biimer Code flawlessly. The only issue I had with this was that it didn’t work with my Chevy truck. It should have the ability to read ANY ODB2 codes.I ultimately sent it back and bought a Veepeak unit that worked perfectly for my BMW, my MINI, and my Chevy. If you only want to use it for a BMW or MINI then this is this best option. If you need it to work with other cars then you will need something else.

Simple to use, and the lowest price coding tool around!
Makes coding your BMW or MINI simple. No need to spend all day loading memory hogging files onto your laptop. Simply Pay $50.00 to get the bimmercode app, pair the OBD Link to your phone, and you're off. Simple! Coded pulsing flashers, window up with remote, and removed the speedometer correction from my '09 MINI Cooper in < 10 min. Great product! Bimmer code even makes a backup of the module incase you want to restore it to factory settings.

Works great with BimmerCode and BimmerLink
This OBDII adapter connects right away and works great with the 2 apps that i use on my GR Supra (BimmerCode and BimmerLink). Both apps connect to it and I'm able to perform all of the functions that those apps provide. If you have a BMW or GR Supra and want to interface with the various computers in the car, this is the OBDII adapter to buy. it will probably work with other cars as well, but I haven't tested it out on anything else.

Works well with my Mini Cooper
I use this on my 2024 Mini Cooper Convertible (F57) together with various apps on my phone: BimmerCode, BimmerLink, OBDLink, OBDocker. It works well with all of them and allows me to adjust some parameters for vehicle operation. As OBD adapters go, it was one of the more expensive ones, but it was one that was recommended by the developers of BimmerCode so I got it anyway, knowing it would work well and it does.
