Bright and long lasting
Works great, long runtime and super bright. Magnetic base is surprisingly handy. Use this primarily in industrial settings and will last an entire shift of confined space work. Charges fairly quickly. Only downside is a bit heavy on the hard hat.

Gold Star
UPDATE December 20, 2023.Bought one for a friend as a Christmas gift. She's an avid outdoors woman. She's 5'7" 110lbs and says this headlamp is too heavy for her, although she loves the versatility and brightness levels. She likes the magnet, ease of controls, the ability to use it in her hands, and the USB-C recharge. She keeps it as a backup to her other headlamp.**************Overall, I'm very happy with this headlamp. I'll be purchasing a second one. I recommend trying it. IMO, the PROs found on this headlamp should be standard across the board for all headlamps.PROs1) Easy and intuitive to use.2) Brightness levels are exactly what you would want.3) USB-C connection with rubber O-rings to keep out the weather.4) Comfortable to wear for hours.5) Not heavy at all; no need for the "over the top" strap.6) Color, throw, splash, and feel of construction are all excellent and give the feeling of value.7) Twist adjustment for flood/spot does not accidently adjust itself while you are busy working.8) All of the twist/turn functions are smooth and have the perfect amount of tension so it feels good and doesn't accidently turn on its own.9) No restrictions on up/down angle.10) The reflectivity of the headband is sufficient without being obnoxious.11) Removable battery.12) Battery can recharge inside and outside the headlamp.CONs1) The order of operation is: medium, high, low; hold for "turbo." To me, it seems an odd order, and I would have preferred the order to be: low, medium, high. Or, moonlight, low, medium, high. I'd even accept high, medium, low, but me preference is ascending order instead of descending.2) No option for non-reflective headband.3) No option for colored lenses. I would want a red lens that is permanently attached to the headlamp so it's not lost when not being used.

Great for work
I'm an electrician and this fits nicely on my hardhat. Very bright and adjusting the spotlight is awesome. Battery life is decent. Charges pretty fast, although I charge it in the car. I love the fact that it has a magnet so I can throw it on a stud while I'm wiring up a J-box. My only negative is that it is rather heavy for a small light but that's not a big deal.

Good battery life, brightness, but does autodim when placed on the turbo setting.
This is a review for the Coast XPH30R 1200 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Dual Power Headlamp with Twist Focus Beam and Magnetic Base.Below my list of pros and cons I provide a more in depth review.Pros:- Good Battery Life- Easy to charge (USB-C)- Useful Magnetic Side- 3 (technically 4) brightness modes- Twist focus super useful for widen area or focus on a specific area- Easy to carry around or wearCons:- A little uncomfortable on your forehead- Auto dims when placed on turbo modeContext:I wanted to buy a headlamp because I have to do work outside sometimes at night. I wanted to a portable, good lasting bright light that I did not have to carry with my hands. In Depth Review:IT works really well. Easy to charge, last relatively long. It will last longer if kept on the lowest setting. Pretty light and I have a lot of USB-C devices so it's easy to charge anywhere. I also really like the magnetic feature so you can take it off and hang it on any metal structure and you have a portable light bulb! One thing I think is a bit misleading is that the 1000 lumens this advertises is just the turbo mode (when you hold down the button). This brightness seems to strain the headlamp and it will dim to the lowest setting after a certain amount of time, depending on the strain. It will usually stay at this for a few minutes. That being said the medium and high brightness settings are steady and don't really dim. Also, those settings are still pretty bright. My final verdict:Fits my needs, easy to adjust range of the light, and I use it frequently. Only lost one star because the ad didn't specify the turbo mode is the 1000 lumens and that it will automatically dim at that setting. This isn't a really big deal since the the high and medium settings are pretty good, but it would have been nice to know. 4/5 stars, still would recommend!
