This is the perfect size for a 1-lb (16 oz) bag of confectioners (powdered) sugar, and small enough that it does not take up too much room in the cupboard. Actual size is 6" Wide x 4-3/8" Deep 5-1/4" High, so don't expect the larger/taller version that may be described elsewhere on this page. It comes with a measuring spoon/sugar duster and a leveler bar that snaps into place if desired. Both of these items can be stored in the lid when not used. It is also air-tight thanks to the gasket seal around the lid. This is exactly what I wanted and expected, and the price was extremely reasonable when compared to similar items.

Purchased this for my powdered sugar storage. I have a similar item for flour and sugar that I had purchased at a retail grocery's special aisle that had always worked well and I noticed this being made for powdered sugar thinking that would be great for my baking cupboard. This container works great. It fits almost an entire bag of powdered sugar, has a sturdy seal around the lid that keeps the sugar fresh while keeping it from attracting things you would not want it attracting in storage. The container comes with a spoon/sprinkler that connects to the inside of the lid when not in use. This is handy but I find it difficult to remove and reattach. While I love this item I do think the price is a bit high. After purchasing I noticed that the store where I purchased the the flour/sugar containers offers a powdered sugar container as well if you just wait a while for it to come back around. I ended up buying one for my mother at that store and the quality is equal while the price was far lower.

The containers were smaller than the picture. But still sufficient for my needs. Since I have minimum amount of counter space. So normal-size flour & sugar containers are too big. The only issue I have is with the scoops that are provided. I can't seem to get them to clip into the top. Thus I would definitely recommend these containers.

This is the best. The seal is absolutely secure and the lid locks on so that this could fall off of the counter without spilling. I love this so much and would definitely recommend.
