Got this docking station for a friend who uses two Dell laptops and, at the time, had a pretty small desk - so cable management was a priority. This hub has been a lifesaver for dealing with all his dongles and makes it super easy to switch between his work and personal devices without needing two separate setups.It’s not a massive docking station, but with two HDMI ports and two USB ports, it’s one of the most affordable options out there with no fussing over the design. It’s compact and has been working well for him for about six months now without any speed or frying issues.That said, I did try plugging it into my Lenovo, and it struggled to connect. Not sure if that’s due to the age of my laptop or some compatibility issue, but worth keeping in mind.

Anker continues to crush it. This little $40 hub accomplished what a $200+ Dell docking station couldn’t. The USB-C power pass-through works perfectly. My two desktop monitors work perfectly. And the extra expansion slots provide all the flexibility that you need. Speaking of which, you may notice a couple of extra drives mounted in your system’s file manager. This caused a small issue for me with Windows reassigning my external hard drive volume from D: drive to F: drive. I was able to easily reorder the new volumes manually, but it might be a pain for some users. I think it’s safe to say that’s more of a Windows issue than Anker’s.

You really just can't beat the value for the price. There are much more expensive hubs that can't deliver this kind of quality. I work from home half the week, and this works perfectly with my Dell work laptop. It allows me to connect all of my peripherals (half of which are connected via a USB hub to switch between work laptop and home PC, this is no issue for this docking station), it provides great image quality on the monitors, and occupies little space.I only have 2 minor complaints:- Despite using the OEM charging cord connected to this docking station, my laptop says it's receiving less than optimal power. I'm not removing a star for this because I have the laptop plugged in all day, and I don't need it to be fast charging. I also believe it might have to do with how many power-sucking peripherals I have connected to the hub, so it may not be a problem for everyone.- I wish the hardwired USB-C cable were a tad longer. For my use case, it sits in a built-in storage compartment at the back of my desk, and the compact length of the cable results in the hub sort of dangling inside the compartment. Again, not removing a star because it doesn't affect the functionality and you can't even tell without opening the compartment, it's just a nitpick.

This works well enough for my purposes, however on my Dell Latitude 5440 it complains about a "weak charging state". My power adapter is 65W, so with 100W pass-thru, I don't see how that could be correct. The adapter does keep it charged to 100%, just maybe charges a bit slower than if I had plugged the power directly into my laptop. However, I have not actually experienced any other issues with the hub to date; it's very compact and portable, dual HDMI works great, no drivers needed.

I have some older versions of memory and thumb drives. This gadget allows me to revisit the items on those devices.

This is the perfect addition to my MacBook Air! It has exactly the additional functions I need and works perfectly.

Perfect product, got it to connect 2 large monitors, so far so good.

It works alright, but not quite what i expected. I honestly dont use it much because of that.Update - They reached out to see what the problem was. They are good to work with. so I'll up it to 4 stars.
