Diagnostics are key!
Easy replacement. Once I got the diagnostic mode working.Initially, I believed RepairClinic who told me it was most likely the valve assembly. It wasn’t (which I discovered during additional poking before that part arrived). To diagnose my machine (a Frigidaire/Electrolux GLTF2940FS1), one turns the knob all the way to the right (Touch up), hit pause to clear the lights, then hold pause and option past the first LED light and then when they all turn on. You then turn the knob counter clockwise 9 clicks to see the last diagnostic code. One can find the diagnostic codes online along with testing protocols ( search for ‘Frigidaire frontline diagnostics’ but know that the diagnostic mode setup is wrong - go to ‘Touch up’).Anyway, once I found the code, I tested the motor per the suggested test which led to the diagnosis of the bad motor control board.I pulled the motor by unbolting 3 5/16 hex screws, and removing the wiring harness from the motor. I then removed the motor control board and removed the three wire harness attachments. The kit comes with a piece of double-sticky tape and no instructions. There are videos on YouTube that show you to use the double-sticky tape on the underside of the mounting bracket which I did. I placed the wires back and then mounted the board. After that, I put the motor back and reconnected those wires as well. The whole job was about 1/2 hour once I got the part. It was harder to move the washer to work on it than to actually replace the board. The washer works like a champ again!

Works well for Frigidaire FAFW3801LW3 washer
This is an exact OEM part for Frigidaire FAFW3801LW3 washer. I got the dreaded E5E error which meant something in the wiring was broken. Youtube has very helpful videos to check if the motor is working ok (Google how to test Frigidaire washer motor ohm). My motor was fine, which meant either the main control (front of the washer - dial assembly) or the motor control board behind the washer was likely broken. I took and chance and bought this. It fixed the problem.

Fixed Fridgidaire washer that would not agitate or spin with error code E59
Tech sheet inside the washer indicated motor or motor control board for E59 error. My motor ohm readings looked good (see YouTube video titled "Frigidaire Front Load Washer Won't Spin - How to Test the Motor"), so I removed the motor control board (see Youtube video titled "Washer Motor Control Board (part #134743500) - How To Replace") and when I opened the plastic case, I found a large transistor on the circuit board that had burned up. I ordered this part since it appears to be the exact same part by the original manufacturer. Install was straight forward and the washer now works fine again. Despite warnings in both of the videos, I did manage to cut my hand on the edge of the access panel opening, so beware.

Received a used , scratched product.
Very disappointed that they sent me a used item instead of a brand new one that I paid for. The item came with a manufacturer's date of 2010 (which was 10 yrs ago). It was dusty and had scratches and gouges on it. Sent back for another one.

Good manufacturer quality part
First item was defective, but a replacement arrived the next day; only reason I put 4/5 stars. Item is working as expected and my washer is back up running.

Worked and fixed my problem!
This was a direct replacement for my fridgidaire washer and it fixed the problem! My problem was that the washer would start dispensing water and then stop. After several attempts sometimes we could get it to run. The error code said to replace the control board and then the motor speed control board. After this didn’t fix it i replaced the speed control board and it resolved the problem. Shipping on this was fast and it worked as described. Adding the extra detail in case someone else has the same problem I did. Good luck!

Great!
Worked like a charm. Our Frigidaire front loading washer would start filling and stop after a few seconds, later resetting and not actually washing anything. This was an intermittent problem that would happen sometimes and other times it would work ok. but getting worse. I tested the valves which other sites pointed to as a likely cause and they were fine. Changing this control board eliminated the problem. Very easy plug and play replacement going in from the rear access panel.

Fixed My Frigidaire Gallery Error Code 57!
This fixed out Frigidaire Gallery series Model # GLTF2940FS1! The problem we incurred was that somewhere in the middle of a load of wash it stopped working and we were left with soaking wet clothes. The timer continued to the end of the cycle and we never noticed until we went to dry the clothes. At that point we tried the drain/spin cycle which did not work. We then tried all the cycles - none worked. There was power, the lights would come on and with each cycle the appropriate time appeared but it wouldn't fill with water or spin or anything else. The timer would count down, but with no other actions. Searches on line helped us to determine that we had an error code 57 which drew us to this control board which goes in the back behind the motor or the main control board which goes in the front behind the display. We felt we had a 50/50 shot choosing. We concluded that because everything lit up and each cycle would show the appropriate time and all the spin cycles would light up when we changed them as would the water temp lights that the main control board was likely not our problem (so we hoped!). We went with this part, installed it, plugged it back in and gave it a try and it worked! Hooray! It is finishing up a load now as I write this.
