Good alternative to Garmin sensors
Arrived promptly. Easy to install and pair with my Garmin 810. Works very well with accurate speeds. No inconsistent readings at all on Strava. I'm going to order more for my other bikes.

very inaccurate
Useful if you need to vastly over-estimate your speed, was reading 32mph when riding at 200w even though wheel size was set correctly in the garmin head unit. Same result when using zwift. Very easy to fit to rear hub although battery lid needed to be prised off with a knife. Back to Amazon it goes. It was cheap and the build quality reflects this but the inaccuracy makes it worthless

sometimes up to 130 mph when it works its great, but it will give you false distance readings ...
keeps spiking with high speeds, sometimes up to 130 mph when it works its great, but it will give you false distance readings with higher speeds.I have it manually set to as close i can get to wheel and tyre size and it works better than auto, but still get the odd higher speed data

Cycplus - customer service beyond exceptional
Great little Product, worked straight out of the box, fiddly, but not difficult to attach. Bought this in a bid to make exercise more interesting using virtual racing Apps,I need all the help I can get! But turns out I hadn't a clue what I was doing. The seller bent over backwards to help me out. You can buy with confidence.

Easy and not expensive speed sensor
Cheap to buy. Works well with Garmin 820. Did device search with Garmin Connect and hey presto. Then can show up pn Strava.Says to use on front wheel but I’ve found ok on rear since on turbo trainer.

Might me okay, but I got a dud one!
Unfortunately, my Cycplus S1 speed sensor seems to be faulty, so I had to return it. When I put the battery in, I could pair it with the cycle computer, or my phone and it seemed to work for a while ... but then it went to sleep and would not wake-up , no matter how much you move it. Removing the battery and replacing it seemed to kick-start it back to life, but next time it went to sleep the same thing would happen.I tried several new batteries, with no luck, so concluded it was faulty. I suspect, if you get a working one, that it will function fine - I say this because I also got the Cycplus C2 cadence sensor, and that works with no trouble at all.I have now purchased a different brand of speed sensor (with good feedback on the web), hoping it will be reliable.

Cycplus cadence sensor setup with Garmin Vivoactive 3
The media could not be loaded. After researching for fitness sensors I came across this brand on Amazon, good price compared to Garmin sensor and it claimed to be able to connect to many apps and devices. Since I only have Vivoactive 3 so I decided to check it out with my garmin Vivoactive 3 and see how it performs. The parcel came in a relatively large Amazon box, as usual amazon is very generous with their packaging. Now onto testing the sensor with my device (vivoactive 3). It was very simple , easy and quick setup to establish an ANT+ connection with my watch and it immediately picks up the sensor once it is active, seems to give accurate readings, as I don't have any other sensor to compare it with, so I am presuming the readings are okay, however testing the sensor over time is always recommended to check its accuracy.Bluetooth connection seems a bit fiddly, at first it won't get picked up by my Huawei Mate 9. but eventually it picked up on bluetooth and got paired with Strava and Sports Tracker apps on android. I have made a quick video to show the quick setup as for now. I will be testing out this sensor more thoroughly and will upload my findings after extensive test of this sensor. So far it looks good and operative.

Sleeps.....
Worked ok for the first couple of times then could not be detected (by 3 seperate devices). Tried to change the battery and the mechanism fell out. Eventually got it back together and it worked again with the same battery. All these sensors (Garmin included) have the same issue. The only benefit of this item is that you are wasting less money.

Piccolo, economico, facile, funziona
