Diaper GenieRefills, Holds up to 270 Diapers,Pack of 3

The diaper genie 2 refills are easy to use - and that's a huge plus when dealing with a new born. Basically you insert the refill, pull the bag end thru, tie a knot, make sure there is enough slack to bottom of the container and you are done.When you fill up the genie, simply open it up, cut the bag and tie a knot in the bag full of diapers and tie a knot for the new bag and you are good to go. The system is really simple.With a 3 pack, I found the Amazon price better than babies r us and target (6.99 each there) so I simply ordered them from Amazon. However, even with the cheaper price, the cost to value is why I'm only giving this a 4 star review. With a new born, we go thru about 1 refill in 10 days (give or take). And that's a lot to pay for what is, at the end of the day, a very large plastic bag that you cut and tie. Still the design and convenience is what you are paying for and that, to me, more than out weights the cost issues.I do highly recommend this product, its easy, simple, and it works. Oh and the price here isn't bad.

FYI the item sold by Amazon can only hold up to 180 diapers per refill. Playtex appears to manufacture two types of refill for the Diaper Genie II container. For comparison Genie II refills sold by Baby R Us or Target can accommodate up to 270 diapers per refill or 810 diapers per case of 3 refills. However as the title states the product can only accommodate 180 diapers per refill.I would have gave it five stars if the refill where the 270 diapers capacity. However I am still satisfied with the Genie II diaper disposal container + refill. The Genie II product is one of the best brand out in the market based on my experience. It has a ingenius double lid closure design that minimize (if not almost entirely eliminate) the diaper poop smell. Overall it is an excellent product (5 stars for container design and 4 stars for the refill due to cost and capacity)

I feel torn on how to review this product. I will begin by saying, I love the diaper genie, it works well, when I was given it as a hand-me-down, it came with a refill. But as soon as they ran out, I looked into getting more, and I can not BELIEVE the price! They are just plastic BAGS! I found after ordering a three pack once, it lasted perhaps a month. I can not believe I spent anything to get bags.I use grocery store bags instead now, you put them in just like you would the refills, and they work just the same, you have to change it more frequently, but I don't care, they are free! If you find slightly larger bags if would be better, as when the grocery bag has too many in it, it drops to the bottom. But still, its better then paying so much for so little.Seriously, this product is a luxury, not necessity.

I was familiar with Diaper Genie I 14 years ago, and I loved it, the convenience was wonderful, and there was no odor. It was easy to use. I was at first concerned with how the DG II would compare to the original, since the original worked so well, I figured why advance something that works good, but decided to give it a try. After a week, I am convinced that Diaper Genie Products are superior to all other diaper pail systems out there. There is no odor, it is a closed system, so no dirty diapers are visible, and the refill packs are affordable. I have always bought DG I for friends who are expecting, and now I would buy them a DG II. Very good buy.

I ordered this product because it boasted such a better price for the three pack of these refills. The price was even better than the subscribe-and-save price by far! Imagine my excitement (yes, over diaper garbage bags!). I was stoked to have found such a great deal... Until it arrived. My pack of three refills had somehow seemingly transformed into but only one refill on the magical two day journey to my home! The shock, the horror- oh god the stench I would have to endure! I then had to decide my next step of action- sadly, I didn't have an easy option to just have my missing two refills replaced by this company, and I had to contact amazon who graciously refunded my money without making me go through the hassle of returning the SINGLE refill. Amazon couldn't even offer me a replacement because they couldn't guarantee this company had the stock to provide my refill and I could not bear the possibility that I would again experience the sadness of only one refill being in my shipment.Listen- I expect what I order. If you don't want to send me what I want for your advertised price, increase the price- don't just try to pull the wool over my eyes and think I won't notice missing product. It's possible this was a one time thing.. But I doubt it. A pack of three should be prepackaged together. It's three times the size of a single refill. Simple.The only saving grace on this order was the prompt and great customer service I received when I contacted Amazon.

After trying a cheaper variety, we came back to diaper genie. They are the best!

I use these for my cat's litter disposal, and they hold in the odor okay and are strong enough to hold the heaviness when it's full. There MIGHT be a better brand for odor control, but if you're just using it for diapers, then these will more than work.

I don't have the diaper genie II, but have a similar pail that can use the refills. Most places I've been to sells these individually, only Amazon has pack of 3, and the price is better than other places. The refill is pretty much a very long plastic bag, each time you put a diaper in the pail, a bit of the bag is pulled out from the refill "ring". We have a 6 month old and go through one of these every 2 weeks. Using these refills it saves us from having to collect small plastic bags and keeps the smell away. excellent!

Like the product, but the title on this one says refills ie plural insinuating more than one. The comments for the same product in the US also says it's a pack of three. When I received my package there was one refill! $12.50 for one refill is really expensive, even full price at other stores is at least $4 cheaper. No where on the description does it say how many refills...

Supposed to be a pack of three, so I ordered two and was sent 4....Amazon shipped me another 3 pack and let me keep the extra single but these things are great and having a Diaper Genie right next to the change station is a HUGE help!Easy to change bags, sturdy and have yet to have one split!
