Smaller than regular earring backs.
I found the wide range of prices for earring backs on Amazon confusing. You get what you pay for - gold is priced by purity and weight. These backs are much smaller than the standard backs that come with most earrings. See photo of the standard back on left and these backs on the right. They did fit onto the earrings that we needed a replacement back for, so we are keeping them.Update: Upgrading to four stars. After a week of use they did not come off and in fact are less prone to getting snagged than the normal sized originals. I would do 5 stars if they weren't so small.

Small but mighty
These 4mm backings are small but fit securely on a post for a diamond earring that is less than half a carat total weight. They fit very snug on the post and hold the earring in place quite well. If one has larger diamonds I would suggest the 6mm. We are very pleased with this product. Delivery was a off by a few days; however, we were in no rush. They arrived very well wrapped in several small plastic bags with bubble wrap in an large envelope.

Works well with my earring.
The product is good except The earring back was a size small. I was expecting a regular size one. My earring still works with it.

Good replacement
These were delivered before the estimated date which was great. Like others have mentioned these earrings backs are tiny but I think for me it works out better. They are securely keeping my earrings in place and am not worried about them falling off.

Tiny!
The earring backs are very, very small. I have yet to find an earring that I can use them on.

Worth it.
These backings were perfect. I inherited a pair of white gold earrings that I have worn every day ever since but when I received them, I realized that the backings were not the ones that originated with the earrings. I have spent 12 years going to different jewelers that wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for earring backs in white gold. So I was very excited when I found these on Amazon. The moment they arrived I put them with my earrings and they are perfect. Thank you for allowing me to complete a set of earrings I inherited from my mom 12 years ago.
