This is my favorite thing I've ever bought off of Amazon! Beautiful frames for an amazing price. I bought them specifically to frame these 5x7 prints I bought off Etsy (I bought the 5x7 frame). You can't beat it.I have no idea what the material is but if you told me it was wood I would believe you. It's nice to the touch and very pretty.They boasted about the spring tabs and I wasn't really sure what they meant but they're actually awesome. They're not annoying or painful to move like other inexpensive frames. They do have a little "spring" to them, so it pushes the photo nice up against the frame but it's easy to move around if you needed to take the picture out.Another issue I always have with inexpensive frames is that the back part that is used to keep the frame standing up always keeps the frame from being flush against the wall if you decide to hang it. With these frames, the back piece is easily tucked in to be flush allowing for good hanging. I haven't hung them yet and I'll update if I run into any issues, but I don't think I will.Also, In the picture I'm sharing, I didn't use the included mat but it's really pretty. I have two frames left and will more than likely use it.I'll buy these again in a heartbeat. I think this is the most in-depth review I've ever written because I literally just fell in love with these frames, lol.

These frames are exactly what I needed. They were packaged very well, plastic wrapped and in a bubble wrap sleeve. They are sturdy, came with glass pane (not plastic as I read in some reviews). The grey color of the frame is a nice finish. They look like wood, I'm not exactly sure if they are or not but they don't look cheap. They came with a hook that clips right on to the back of the frame panel and a fastener to nail into the wall. I wasn't sure about the fastener, but it turned out to be quite sturdy and secure to the wall. Overall, I'm very pleased with these frames, great quality and a great price. I only needed 8, so I have 2 extra for other pics now. Highly recommend.

Truly excellent. Not only are these good value for the price, but they are cleverly designed so that it is easy to insert photos into the frames: the backing-holders swivel instead of having to be bent out. Easy out, easy in without worrying about which "bend" will finally break. Also, the design seamlessly supports using the frames on desktop or hanging on a wall - either "tall-ways" or "wide-ways". ALSO, the set includes an innovative wall-tacking system: a plastic hanger with 3 brads built in: just place it on the wall and hammer it in, then hang the frame on it. Really well- thought-out design to allow easy hanging and easy changing of photos when desired.

These frames are individually packed with Bionic wrapping, the reason I state this is there was care, consideration in packing each one of these frames. What is even better is when I opened them, OMG, not what I expected, these frames are made high quality, pleasantly surprised, from the framing materiel to the backing and the clasp even the border inside. Worth every darn penny and then some. When I need more 5 x 7 frames, I will look to no other place for my purchases.

Super excited to have got them today however it stated it was a set of 5. i only recieved 4! when i called amazing to inform i was placed on hold for 17 minutes for the man to come back on the phone then hang up on me! All i wanted was the 5th frame other than that i loved the quality of the picture frames!

I'm a BIG horror movie fan, but my husband doesn't like the idea of me decorating the house with horror movie related things. So one day when he was really tired, I quickly flashed my recent Etsy order at him and asked: 'Hey do you mind if I frame these old black and white pictures of old houses for the downstairs bathroom?' and he said: 'Yeah yeah, sure, they're nice. Whatever.'I am useless at mounting photos and I did not understand the little white pokey things and little black brackets that came with these frames. So I had to enlist my husband to help. He figured it out right away. The white pokey things (last photo) get hammered into the wall, the 'tail' is where the frame will hang from. The black bracket thingys (second photo) have to be slid onto the frame's cardboard backing *while it is not inside of the frame*. Then you hang the frame by the black bracket thingy onto the tail of the white pokey thing and you're done!Unfortunately, while he was hanging these he figured out that they are the houses from 'Halloween,' 'IT,' 'The Amityville Horror,' 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and 'Beetlejuice.' But since he hates having holes in the walls without anything covering them, they're staying!

I have so many friends who have sent so many beautiful cards over the years that I have dedicated a wall in my bedroom to clusters of framed cards. Amazon prices have allowed me to select inexpensive , colorful mats and frames and I can enjoy them whenever I want. Nice, inexpensive hobby. And nice way to remember my friends....candI can enjoy and remember

I generally hate anything that is meant to look like wood without actually being wood. But my husband has been asking for me to get a family photo wall going for quite awhile so I needed multiple frames in a hurry & as these were going in a hallway I was willing to try the faux wood option mainly because of price. I am quite pleased with the result of these frames. The grey tone is very pleasing & while I think I will stick with real wood for my table top frames these mixed in on a gallery wall work very well & I would order them again.
