They've outdone themselves with this one, very pleased with the purchase.Set up time:About 30 seconds, as I already had the app installed and it was very easy to add the new ones! (But would be very quick otherwise also, for any newcomers to the joy of smart plugs.)Design:I've never minded the fact that the older design kept the switch turned on (as I control it all by app anyway), but it's great they've adapted the design to allow switching on and off at the socket for those who'd like to.Personalisation:Is brilliant being able to change the names of the switches, so I can easily tell which is which and control them remotely!Use:As you can see, I use this for kitchen devices (e.g. kettle), plug socket air fresheners, lamps... you name it. Love being able to turn the light on when it gets dark without getting off the sofa! On the less sloth-like side, it's good to be able to turn the kettle on towards the end of my morning walks (ready for coffee), get the flat smelling nice without wasting scent during my absence, and turn lamps on/off whilst I'm away to deter intruders.Highly recommended!

Super easy to install, see below, connects to Alexa, convenience.I'm currently on a smart home mission. Buying lots of smart tech to help me monitor and control my energy usage as well as make my life more convenient.I've been looking for a way to make my sockets smart and these bad boys do just that.They are not too bulky see photo.Simply plug these in, turn power on socket and press the button on the switch.Download the Smartlife app.Open app, autoscan or manually add WiFi socket. Input your WiFi username and password, which will be transferred to your switch. Give your socket a name and voila. It will now be in your app.Add to Alexa is easy open Alexa app, skills, search smartlife, enable skill, add Smartlife username and password. Alexa will then ask you to add devices. It will search and find them.You can now control your devices by voice using the name you gave them.I have a kettle attached to one of my plugs which I fill up before going to work, I have the plug on schedule to boil just before I get home. Perfect for a quick cuppa when I enter my home.The possibilities are endless. ENJOY

I was quite skeptical about “smart home”, various WiFi adapters and any similar stuff. However, I needed to buy this for my office by request of my boss, and since then I fall in love with smart technologies.What I really love about this product, that you can setup a timer for your electrical plug to turn on or off. I work as a camera operator and charging batteries is a daily job. I always leave them charging at night, but keep wasting electricity by overcharging them (which by the way make a damage you the battery). Now, I can simply put a timer, and it will turn off after specific amount of hours - giving me an opportunity not to overcharge them!Other thing which I like, that’s it’s so easy to open app and all plugs are there. You don’t need to wait or connect all over again. It’s just there and whenever you press a button in the app, it reacts simultaneously. No delay.The only thing, which can be improved is installation guide. I’m using new iOS and it seems app was a bit upgraded. If they could add manual with a new app, it would help with the first installation. However, even with this, it took me only 2 minutes from opening the package till full setup! Excited!

Bit of a mission to connect , took me 5 days before i could get them connected tried everything several times via instructions googled info and went on forums, not sure what i did that it finally connected. the last couple of things i did was to link my location to the smartlife app, (i couldnt find anything that said to do this i just came across by chance , my location was on my phone just not linked for some reason to the app when it was down loaded? , i do think this is the reason it wouldnt connect before?) I rebooted my phone still didnt connect with the fast blinking decided one last try so tried yet again with the slow blink and this time it connected... i did however have to do each plug one at a time ... it wouldnt find all 4 devices so again bit of a chore and a couple of times again i struggled to connect (not sure if i did anything different ) however, im very pleased with them now they are up and running .. just a pain and bit of a mission over 5 days .. i almost gave up :/

Really useful plugs to have in the house. Excellent value for 4 plugs as well. They are well built and really sturdy.Was very easy to pair the plugs to the WiFi using the app, was able to pair them one by one within a few minutes. The app is very user friendly and allows you to customise the way you use the plugs. For example allows you to set the plug on auto on/off depending on sunrise/sunset, weather, temperature or even if your in a certain distance to your plug.One great thing that I like about the app is that on your iPhone you are able to add the widget to your home screen and simply on/off the plug from there without even opening it! Also you can control the plugs from your Apple Watch!Works fine over mobile data as well.The plugs are not too thick either, I really like the simple square design, as they don’t come in the way at all. No issues at all this item - they really are smart plugs!
