Hair's to you! Great purchase!
The media could not be loaded. The Hot Tools blow dryer and styling brush combo has been a game-changer for our family's hair routine. It significantly cuts down drying time, which is a huge plus, especially with two daughters. The airflow is powerful enough to dry hair effectively without making it feel damaged or brittle. It's also surprisingly easy to maneuver, making it simple to achieve a smooth, styled look. I appreciate that it combines the brushing and drying steps, saving us precious time in the mornings. A word of caution: the gold part of the dryer does get very hot, so it's important to be mindful of that while using it. For dads with daughters, or anyone looking for a quick and efficient way to dry and style hair, I highly recommend giving this a try. It delivers great results without breaking the bank, making it a worthwhile investment.

Great for certain hair types, my Mom loves it.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom and she loves it. She has shoulder length, straight and thin hair. It dries her hair perfectly and quickly and keeps it soft and helps with frizz. I have 2b hair, thick and somewhere between curly and wavy hair. It took less time to dry my hair than a normal hair dryer but only by maybe 20 minutes. It dried the top layer of my hair quickly but didn't reach the under layers of my hair, I would have had to flipped my head over and that's a no-no for frizz. I should also mention that just because it's a dryer don't forget the proper method of brushing thick curly hair, start at the bottom and work your way up. I got carried away and started at the top and it almost instantly got stuck in my hair and began to rip out some of my hair in addition to snapping and splitting some hairs. That was probably on me though so if you don't do this it should be fine. Also, with thick curly hair take your time gliding the brush through. It works way better that way and doesn't get caught in you hair as much. Speed brushing, even after getting it brushed and tangle free, causes the dense bristles to get stuck in your hair. Because my hair is curly and I have a lot of baby hair on the top of my head my hair still frizzed I didn't use any friz control products either. Honestly though it works great for my mom I would not use it for myself. When I finished using it my hair was mostly straight but not in a fashionable way. It looked like someone did a bad job flat-ironing it, and for some reason I couldn't run my fingers through my hair without my hair getting tangled afterwards. Also be warned, the gold part get HOT so don't let it touch your ears and keep your hair away from the tip of the brush as hair always get stuck in it. I know this seems like a harsh review but I think it's a good product that works well for people with a certain hair types, namely straight or thin hair. If you have hair like mine you could probably get it to work well for you if you practiced with it and put in some extra effort, like anti-friz products and flat ironing afterwards, I just don't want to put so much extra effort into drying my hair. It is a good product, especially after I read a bunch of reviews comparing it to other similar products and found this one to be the best. Plus it has a good warranty and I found a lot of others didn't (or had a short warranty period) and broke shortly (only a fur uses or moths) after the initial use. If you want a hairbrush dryer I would recommend choosing this one over others.

3 Years Later – Still the Best Hair Tool!
I’ve had this dryer for over 3 years and it’s still working great! I loved it so much that I also bought it as gifts for my mom, niece, and a friend. It makes styling fast and easy—totally worth it!

Would recommend it
This is the second brush hair dryer of this brand I’ve ordered. My last one worked great but I took it on a trip to Europe and tried to use it with a power converter and I think it damaged it. I noticed in the description for this one that it says not to use it with a power converter. I had my last one for a few years so no longer had the box and if it ever said not to use with a power converter I don’t recall. On the same trip I plugged it in to the appropriate outlet on the cruise ship and I smelled a burn smell. When I returned home (in the US) the dryer just didn’t seem to work right. So I looked and looked on Amazon for a new one, reading reviews and comparing prices. I decided to buy this one by Hot Tools again. I have curly hair about 4 inches past my shoulders. I used to use a blow dryer and round brush before I discovered these brush style dryers. It was life changing, lol. Much easier that holding two things and my hair drys straighter and smoother. I still use a flat iron after but a couple passes and it’s good. The only negative with this product is the noise level, but that’s probably because it has a lot of blow. I feel like this dryer blows hotter on high than my last one and I wonder if it’s too hot. I use a heat protectant on my hair before drying.

Sounds like a Leaf Blower!!
This hair dryer is POWERFUL. It definitely dries hair fast. I have asian hair which is always a beast to tame. It work well! It goes through my hair smoothly, has a long cord and I'm very happy with the results! My only complaint is that IT IS SO LOUD!! LIKE LAWN EQUIPMENT LOUD.

This Hot Tools brush really WORKS on long, thick, wiry, frizzy, almost 90% gray hair!
Oh wow! I have long, curly, thick, wiry, frizzy, 90% gray hair and am super awkward, clumsy, with the propensity to hurt/burn myself and...this brush WORKS! It's very noisy on the "high" setting, so I've worn earplugs, but I also figured out I can let the hair air dry 50%, or rough dry with a regular blow dryer - and then do the "low" setting. It's still plenty hot and the brush literally GRABS your hair as you twirl it around. Big chunks of hair too. I go from messy bun to sleek flipped out ends in less than 20 minutes. It's literally like a miracle. I do use heat protectant and I wouldn't do this every day, but twice a week is totally OK for my indestructible hair. Watched a couple of YouTube videos just to make sure I was doing it right and yep - it's even flatter the next day. I also finish off with a little argan oil to flatten any fly aways. This Hot Tools brush changed my life, I swear. I WANT to go outside now and not hide under a hat!
