EnzymedicaDigest Gold + ATPro, Maximum Strength Digestive Enzymes, Helps Digest Large Meals, for Gas and Bloating, 120 Capsules

I have suffered from "IBS", with chronic indigestion, numerous trigger foods, pains that last for as much as 36 hours, malnutrition and "food aversion" because of that, and tried EVERY significant digestive Enzyme product on the market [including lately the popular Source Naturals Essential] , probiotics [oh me....], etc and seen a half dozen gastroenterologists over a lifetime since teens only just now finding one good one out of the bunch of awful ones. I know every "pop culture" cure, fad, voodoo thing that IBS sufferers pass around in hope. THIS PRODUCT flat works wonders. If you read the ingredients and their levels/concentrations, it is a BARGAIN compared to other that completely leave out some enzymes because they can't be produced cheaply. The only thing Enzymedica Digest Gold + ATPro does not have [nobody else does either] I wish it DID have [I'll buy, Enzymedica hope you read this] is DAO, which is necessary to break down dietary HISTAMINE in the gut, and body-produced Histamine in the GI tract [a bad, bad thing for me]. [The science on DAO is not as solid as we wish, and its production for use is tricky and there are a few FAKES around just so you know]. But Enzymedica's product is literally the ONLY one I have found in decades of try/fail that actually works, works consistently, even at split-dose I experimented with. I wish they would print something about how long is persists in the GI tract, but that is probably so idiosyncratic in different individuals as to render all claims "DOA" so can't blame them.What works for me is to go ahead and eat some breakfast, and maybe a brunch item [i don't eat heavy], then take it and it will do the job essentially all day long. I am stunned - pinching myself. Full disclosure I originally picked this up in desperation at our best grocer in TX, on an impulse, not knowing what to expect except another fail. Since then I only order from AMAZON [yay AZN]. God willing I will never be without this [pleezzz]. I mean it sincerely. I still avoid obvious trigger categories like the entire Chili pepper family [paprika sneaks into so many packaged foods....uggh], I leave dairy alone though I'm not totally intolerant, etc but SINCE taking this I eat way more than I could before [still ghastly underweight but that will change now], go to bed without meds for gut pain - you get the picture.Fellow sufferers: you are doubting me - I do get it, as so many want to give me advice and I just stop up my ears and move on - I've read thousands of pages of real science on the topic. Just try it. Please, for your health's sake, JUST try it. Sincerely..And NO - i have never worked for Enzymatica, I don't even know if they are stock listed, nobody asked me to do this, I'm not a pro reviewer, just a pro digestive-disorder-sufferer - I know a LOT about that.

I have issues with both gluten and dairy, but I've found these capsules aid digestion regardless of what you're eating. They are my go-to when I travel or dine out, as I'm in less control of the ingredients.

Honestly, very few natural supplement products do anything at all in my experience, and I've tried a lot of different varieties for a lot of different reasons. Digest Gold on the other hand has had a massive impact on my digestive tract in a very short time. I'm a competitive strength athlete, and so I tend to eat A LOT more than the average person, and typically consume high protein foods, like eggs. Unfortunately, I seem to be intolerant to eggs, don't seem to digest many other foods well either, and suffered from horrible bloating and gas. After starting this with every meal, I've had minimal if any gas, no bloating, and for the first time in years I actually have regular solid stools, rather than loose partially digested stools. Yes, that is important! Unreal difference.

These enzymes have changed my life. I recently was diagnosed with a sluggish pancreas, where mine doesn't produce enough lipase (discovered after a stint on the keto diet - you can probably imagine the issues in that situation!). I had horrible digestive issues for months (I could visually see how poorly my food was being digested - sorry if that's tmi, but for those of you in that camp looking for a solution, I think you'll understand!). I started taking these, while adopting an anti-inflammatory diet I created for myself along the lines of Plant Paradox/Paleo, and voila! I'm super regular now, I've lost some weight, and the discomfort and puffiness in my belly is a thing of the past.

Works well, but not 5 stars because it's so expensive.I do still need to take several (3-4) to reduce symptoms from foods I am a little sensitive too; one capsule is not enough for me.

This is a good product and it helps with digestive problem if you can not manufacture the enzymes naturally.

I like the way this helps digestion. I take it especially if I have beef and it really helps. It also helps after a big meal. My daughter gave it to us after Thanksgiving dinner and I felt like it helped a lot with bloating etc. from eating rich foods.

My chiropractor and dietician suggest me these. They work well! Using them fir a year now.
