5 inch Swivel Casters Moogiitools Black Polyurethane All Wheels with Brakes 1800lbs (Set of 4)

It is not a lot of offset, however when your tool cart is 400 pounds, the rocking back and forth on one corner is irritating to say the least. Used a handful of washers to shore up the offsets and it is level now.Total offset for drooping corner: 3/16th inch.The wear pattern on the wheels is becoming more even as they're used.The wheel locks function well enough to keep the cart from rolling on an uneven surface.Not bad for the price.

These casters are pretty great! I used the 5" wheels for a workbench in my garage. The bench weighs about 400 lbs without shelving and tools. Bench rolls smooth and easy. The locking mechanism is firm. And, I found out there is a pinch point when unlocking by hand so keep your fingers, and thumb, clear of the direction you are moving the lock.I will be adding tools and cabinetry to this bench so it will likely weigh close to 1000 lbs once it is done. I expect these casters to hold up well. Will update if I find out anything else that I need to share.Shipping and packaging were great as well.

Good quality and easy to use.

I'm using these casters on a tool chest with top side tool box, both full of tools. The total weigh is approximately 200lbs and these casters work great. They lock very smoothly and hold the tool chest firmly in place. When unlocked the tool chest moves smoothly around my shop with very little effort. It is easy to change directions with the chest when moving it around that they track straight when moving the chest in a fixed directions. Locking the rollers is quick and easy with simple push of the lock with the toe of my shoe. Unlocking the casters does requires bending over and pull up on the lock arm. It would have been nice to be able to push the lock with my foot to unlock them but other than that I really like these casters.

I have these on a cart that will carry about 600 lbs., which is 50% of the max rated capacity. Update: I removed the wheels to paint my new cart and noticed that one of the four wheels has a severe wobble. Actually, they all wobble a tiny amount, but one wobbles at least 3/16" of an inch. This side-to-side wobble means that the load capacity of this one wheel would be somewhat less than the others. The bearing is ok, but it appears as if the hole in the plastic wheel was drilled at an angle. I'll be returning these for replacements.EDIT: I'm done with these cheap imported wheels with unrealistically high weight ratings. There is a difference between "working capacity" and "maximum load capacity". I really don't know if they could even handle the 1200 lbs without breaking since I never loaded it past 600 lbs. However, I do not think 1200 lbs is anywhere near the safe "working capacity" of these wheels. At only 50%, about 600 lbs, they are very difficult to roll because the soft tires squish down into the floor. You don't need wheel locks at this point because the shear weight and the flat tires keeps it from rolling. They don't look flat but they feel flat because you need both hands and your full body weight to move the item around on a perfectly clean and flat concrete floor. Pushing it in the opposite direction to get the wheels to swivel around, the shear weight is already grinding the tire into the floor. IMO, these will not last long. I ended up getting solid steel wheels, no brakes, and they roll so much easier... even with steel wheels on a slight slope, the 600 lb weight keeps the cart in place, while also being able to move it with one hand when needed.EDIT 2: Since June 2020, I have received email messages from EIGHT different people using the same form letter offering me $10 to remove this review, which is against Amazon policy. They claim this item has been improved. I always decline their offer by telling them if they send me the improved version of this item I would fairly re-evaluate and update this review as appropriate.EDIT 3: Now the seller is offering $20 to remove this review. I didn't really need 1000# wheels for my BBQ grill, but boy they work great! They roll so easy I have to be careful, it'll run away from ya! Excellent ball-bearing function and locking mechanism.ALSO - I forgot to "unlock" one of the wheels and rolled the grill back into the garage...it rolls so smooth I didn't even notice that one wheel was still locked. As a result, I flattened the bottom of that wheel! I wanted to buy a replacement wheel and after explaining MY error, asked if I could buy just a wheel...but they sent me one for free!! THAT is over and above great customer service, IMO!!

Casters are to hard to lock and unlock. I have to unlock them by hand.

I got the 3" set to use with a table saw cart that I made. The area that it is stored gets some minor flooding (rented house with door being fix, just not done yet) and with all four locked, the saw doesn't move a bit. They unlock easily, too.Happy Note: The locking system also locks the rotation; so, nothing moves.I also have the 4" versions on my homemade server rack and that thing is 5'6" x 26" x 32", has two half depth servers, two battery backups, rack mounted router, switch, power distribution, large fan, full walls with insulation (for sound), and it moves like butter.

These wheels look nice enough and the painted steel is a nice touch, but I needed them for a workbench where the locking mechanism is of paramount importance. I found the shape of the lock too slippery to engage with my foot, and I found them extremely difficult to unlock. Now I have a set of holes in the legs of my workbench from trying these wheels (and the 5" steelex set also sold on amazon).... you can only try so many wheels before the bottom of your workbench looks like swiss cheese. As such, I'm giving them one star.

These are a great quality heavy duty product at a decent price. I wanted them to built a tire dolly for my off road truck tires. I over engineered my requirements for the weight capacity with these casters because I wanted to make sure the dolly could handle the weight.They arrived on time in decent packaging complete with mounting bolts, nuts and washers. I needed lag style screws for my application so I’ve got the bag of bolts available to use on something else.I couldn’t find anything close to the quality of these castors in the big box stores and the price for the inferior offerings was far higher.

Arrived on time, in a very nice package, complete with mounting bolts, nuts and washers...nice touch.Only improvement I might suggest is to offer 2 mounting options; 1 for metal feet, where you would use the hardware provided, and a 2nd one for wooden leg installation where they would have provided screws... In my case , I had to buy screws for my mounting. And have a nice bag of bolts available for use somewhere else.

Used it to make a table movable in the garage. Quality seems adequate for the price. I wouldn't trust 1200 lbs with them though. Brakes are good and can be operated with foot without excessive effort. I wish the bolts were slightly longer especially if installation in 1 inch wood. They should include washers in the kit and/or nyloc nuts.

The wheels were perfect for my heavy wide dresser. Once i installed them to the dresser, the dresser is now very easy to maneuver around especially for cleaning, and if I have to move one day.
