Amazing glue that i've had 0 issues with.
While its more of a cement than a glue it works great but can take a bit to get used to using it. The best thing to remember when using this is to not over apply as it can damage the model you are building, remember this melts the plastic to weld it together so over applying it can melt the mini too much and make it a very difficult fix. After having used this to build around 35 models I would definitely recommend this applicator.

Here's how to unclog the needle. Also, cap pulls off the real needle applicator!
This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but when I first opened the Amazon box, I thought they had sent me the wrong product, as it looked like the large long plastic tip WAS the applicator (and I almost cut the tip off!). Somehow before I ruined it and complained about receiving a plastic applicator, I realized the plastic part was just the cap, which simply pulls off. Oops! The metal applicator works quite well for tiny parts, although it's still possible to use too much glue, so you do have to be careful. But this is WAY better than the old goopy glue in a tube. The glue itself fused my plastic model parts very well. The absolute best part was mentioned by another reviewer: it's possible to easily unclog the applicator when the glue in the applicator inevitably dries up. Mine was plugged up on only the third time I tried to use it, so I followed the advice here and was quickly back in business! In case you missed the advice, simply pull off the metal needle applicator (you MUST remove it from the large flammable bottle!!!!), hold it with some tweezers, and hold a flame under it until a small blow-torch flame comes out the plugged end. Let it cool a bit, put it back in the bottle, and then you're good to go. This prevented a potential ENORMOUS amount of waste. Great product!!

Better application of glue to scale models with the Contacta Professional
I have been using this product to assemble scale models of WW I aircraft, and I have found it to be a major improvement over the old fashion method of squeezing the glue from a tube onto the plastic piecs to be assembled. The glue is in a container that is shaped a bit like a closed hand with the index finger pointing outward. Although some of the advertising copy for this product refer to it as a glue "gun," I think that term is a bit mileading. There is no trigger to pull; the glue is delivered by a combination of pressure on the container and gravity, just like the old-fashioned method. The advantage is in the applicator. The shape fits comfortably in your hand so it is easy to bring the glue to where you need it, and the glue is delivered via a long, thin tube which greatly resembles the needle on a syringe. Since the needle's opening is small, the chances of delivering the right amount of glue rather than too much glue are much improved, and the length and thin circumference of the needle allow you to better access the exact spot to which you need to apply the glue. It is all pretty much intuitive which is a good thing because my purchase arrived without any written intructions in a package mailed from Jersey (the Chanel Island which is part of the UK, not the state just south of New York.) It took me a few tries to master the technique of using this applicator to put together my model kits, but once I got the hang of it, it hs really made the assembly much easier, and the results are much more satisfactory because of the fewer incidents of too much glue or misplaced glue. While I was initially disappointed in the fact that this applicator is not a true "glue gun," my disappointment has been rapidly overcome by my sense of accomplishment with my new model planes. I would recommend this product to experienced modelers as worth the cost in elimination of mistakes and better final results.

Great Glue for plastic modelers.
Avid hobbyist here, and have tried several different types and brands of model glue. This is very easy to use, the needle-point applicator dispenses the right amount of glue without being messy. Bonds fairly quickly. Will be purchasing more as needed.

Easy to use.
No modeler should ever be without it.

Best model glue ever!
Stop buying the tube crap. Although some gel style adhesive is great for small parts. Very precise. Keep a thin wire for removing the occasional blockage. You can remove the small tube to do a better job of the cleaning process 😁

Great product
Amazing product had to wait for it being in the states buy I see why the best Model builders like David Damek use it. Its excellent stuff. As for clogging tips. I would suggest after each use wipe off the tip with a paper towel and put the cap back on and set it down so the glue drains naturally back down the way the container was designed. My guess is clogged tips are because the person didnt clean off the tip after using it and cover it back up. Just like ca glue. With ca glue I get the plastic long thin tips I can snip off a little at a time but with this one you cant so I would try just keeping it as clean as possible and covered up between using it. Just my suggestion. So far I think it's great stuff! I use Tamiya thin regular I have testors too which i dont really care for. I use them all CA glue with kicker PVA for static grass Tacky glue what ever it takes lol just not that testors in the tube that's nasty brings back flash backs of model building disasters as a kid lol
