Works as advertised!
Very happy with this purchase. I had a burnt out thermometer in a lg dle3400w dryer and this part was an easy and affordable repair. Couple notes for anyone that may be in the position in which I found myself.Dryer: lg dle3400wSymptoms: no heat, but dryer powers on, spins, air flowsThermometer and fuse location: rear, bottom, left of the exhaust duct inside the unit (no panel access)Tips: unplug dryer, from the rear of the dryer, loosen the screw holding in the exhaust duct. Firmly pull the exhaust duct out and set aside. The thermostat and fuse are located on the left side (look for red and white wires). Thermostat is first, fuse is second. Put dryer on its side (makes install and removal easier as the screws are less likely to fall), note the red/white wire placement, loosen screws, replace parts.Note: the thermostat specifically has a forked positive connection while the original part has one, this doesn't seem to be an issue.

It's just as the reviews have described. I saved myself a couple hundred dollars in repair costs with $11 parts. My heater stopped working so I did a bit of research and found these parts

Perfect fit for my LG dryer. Still working after about 3 months of medium service.

$10 fixed vs paying $$$ to technician.
I paid more than $200 to fixed my LG DLEX3060W with Truesteam last year due to a faulty sensor (fuse). And now it is broken and I was ready to buy another dryer and avoid another pricey handyman. Thanks to various online video and Amazon customers comments, I found out I could have just open up the rear vent tube to avoid disassembled the dryer to change the sensor. Also, I can't find out how to disengage my Truesteam panel. To return my favor, following are my advices. 1) Change both sensors, not just the fuse. My previous paid repair work only change the fuse. The thermostat might be faulty as other suggested. 2) Use a long screw driver for rusty screw. 3) Open up the rear left & right plastic portal from inside (can easily put them back from outside) so you have better access and look inside. 3) My screws are rusty and I have a hard time to even taking them out. And I don't want to use them again. Two trips to HomeDepot and I figured my screws are not standard as they are between M4 - M3 (thread diameter 4mm - 3mm). They are M3.5-0.6 mechanical screws. But thanks to Amazon I got 100 of them for around $7 with one day arrival time. 5) Screw in the lower hole first (using finger or driver) coz the drum may obstruct the upper hole. Then make sure upper hole line up probably, then use a long screw driver from the side opening. I think all the sensors can be replaced from the vent hole. The moisture sensors (two) are located in the lint cover. So good luck for your repair.

Updated 8/12/21 to 1 star: previously " $10 and a few hours very light labor saved me more ...."
Updated Aug 12, 202032 days later, the small thermostat has now failed; 2 days after warranty. The original thermostat worked for 15 years; I expect a new one to last more than 32 days.Original review:My 15yo LG dryer was working except there was no heat.I learned about testing these thermometers about a year ago when something else went wrong.DO NOT BE AFRAID TO DISMANTLE YOUR DRYERSearch Youtube your model and watch how to dismantle. I could do again today in about 90 minutes without moving it (other to access 3 screws on the back).I know I probably only have a few more years, but I'm glad to save the $1,000 today.
