Compré la cinta reflectiva para poder personalizar mi chaqueta de protección para la moto ya que originalmente no viene con mucho reflectivo. Efectivamente el producto no viene con instrucciones, pero después de varias pruebas me di cuenta que es muy fácil de colocar. Después de hacer el diseño y cortar las tiras las pude colocar con la plancha de la ropa y una tela delgada entre la prenda y la plancha para protegerla del calor excesivo en partes que no lo necesitaban. Puedes ver fácilmente cuando ya está pegado ya que el papel transfer se despega un poco en los bordes.Contrariamente a otros comentarios, si brilla, brilla bastante. Pero no lo parece ya que antes de quitar el papel transfer después de transferirlo con calor no brilla. Pero después de retirar el papel transfer queda funcional y brillante.Lo recomiendo más para diseños de reflectivo recto ya que en el que yo hice las curvas fueron algo complicadas y no quedaron perfectas al 100%.

This is wonderful tape when applied properly. Here are enhanced instructions:BEFORE STARTING - UNDERSTAND THE TAPE: Cut a small piece of tape and examine the tape. Separate the clear plastic (called the “transparent film”) from the gray tape (called the “reflective tape”). The bottom-side of the gray tape (opposite the side with the clear plastic) is the side that adheres to the fabric - it is called the “adhesive side” but it does not feel sticky - the “adhesive” is activated by the heat from your iron. Discard the separated tape - do not use in the next step!DO A TRYOUT with another small piece of tape (unseparated) on a scrap piece of fabric - preferably the same fabric you will be using.HOW TO APPLY:1. Iron your fabric to get any wrinkles out, and to preheat your fabric. Preheating the fabric will help the tape adhere better. Do not use steam.2. Cut the iron on / heat transfer reflective tape to desired length. Do not separate the transparent film from the reflective tape.3. Set the heat temperature of iron at about 120*C (~250*F ~ medium heat setting). Do not use steam.4. Place the tape (with the transparent film still attached) with the adhesive side down on the fabric. The transparent film side should be facing up toward you.5. Put the iron onto the tape and move it along the tape pressing firmly - but not too firmly. Pressing too firmly will cause the tape to stretch and result in puckering. (If you are using stretchy fabric, lightly attach the tape to the fabric by lightly pressing or patting the iron down along the length of the tape then press more firmly as follows.) Iron all areas of the tape for 15-30 seconds to let the tape adhere to the fabric. Pay special attention to the edges and corners - make sure they are adequately ironed.6. Wait for 10-15 seconds to let the tape and fabric cool.7. Carefully peel off the transparent film from the applied reflective tape. Discard the transparent film.8. Cover the attached reflective tape with a piece of cloth and iron on top of the cloth for a 2-3 seconds. A cotton handkerchief or cotton pillowcase works well. Don't skip this step.9. Remove the cloth and admire your work!!

Works decent but suggest you air dry shirt. It will start to peel or bubble in dryer

I followed the instructions from Beth F. that was in the reviews. My iron with the cotton temp seemed to work well for adhesion. I work on RR so I'll update this at end of summer to let you know how it survived...lol.Update.... okay a year later it is still holding but cracking a bit as seen in the latest pic. DO NOT DRY IN DRYER TIL COMPLETELY DRY. Found that only partial dry keeps tape from detaching and cracking.

We were able to add extra inches of high vis to my husbands safety t shirts. Compared to buying all new t shirts, this was a much cheaper option. The learning curve was a bit annoying. I think extra directions or tips would be a good idea.

Bought this to add reflective strips to our dog's coat. It came with no instructions for application, but applied with hot iron, no steam, and a cloth on top of tape to protect from the iron. Iron's on beautifully and sticks to fabric. The problem is, the tape has absolutely no reflective properties. Returned it. Very disappointed.
