Strapping one of lezyne's high-performance LEDs will require a little more strength than a wimpy plastic mount. The lezyne aluminum helmet mount is made from, you guessed it, aluminum, for a high strength-to-weight and the ability to hang on during rough descents. The spherical pivot allows you to point the light wherever you want to once it has been mounted to the helmet. The lezyne aluminum helmet mount is compatible with the mega drive, XL line, and 2012 LED lights.

Works well on helmet, limits MIPS
I am not a fan of how MIPS helmets might be limited with helmet mounts like this. Otherwise, this light mount works great.

Nice mount
I thought the metal would hold much better than the plastic one but its about the same. Excellent on the road but tends to move slightly when on the trails. Fits atop my Bell 3r and Giro Ionos well but not as good atop my Giro Atmos. Still works though.

Works like expected!
A simple helmet mount for a bike light. It works as expected. Nothing fancy but easy to use and meets expectations!

Works as intended
Average product, nothing special. Difficult to put light into the holder, slightly difficult to tighten the holder so that the light will not move around. But overall looks classy and nice.Velcro seems a little too long IMO, but perhaps it helps people with helmet with vents far apart.Expensive.

It works
Simple bit of kit. Expensive for what it is but......it does the job. One downside was the plasic mounting bracket was too tight for the mount on the light but a bit of work to the light mount with a needle file sorted it. Secure, strong and simple!
