I know this is more of a novelty than an actual survival till, but i can't help but love this little tool. The side tools are what you expect from a tool of this price, however they all work. They are not flimsy as i expected but i'm not sure I'd trust my live with them.The axe is very sharp and i used it to take down several small saplings. Anything thicker than a few inches would become a monumental tak, but it ripped through the smaller trees, taking off the smaller branches with ease.It also madea very sharp spear tip, just using the axe.The hammer worked well, i wouldn't want to build a house with it, but i'll be sure to use it for my observation stands on my trails.The pillar worked well too. I tested it by pulling out some old rusted nailsand again it worked perfectly.In a pinch, this tool is no joke. I'm thinking of gettinga few more for each truck and one for the side by side for when we go riding the trails. It'll easily clear small devoured trees blocking the tails and fixing a few lengths of barbed wire. Twisting it tight, or driving some large staples into the parts to hold it in place.I wish they made this in a larger version, I'd use it for everything.

I purchased this substantial multi-tool for my bug-out bag. I'm quite pleased with the purchase. Though a multi-tool, the product has substantial heft to it. I pulled out each element and all seem able to withstand rigorous use. The hammer has weight, the hatchet, though small is quite sharp (and comes with a shield, essential feature as it projects from the profile of the tool), and there are two blades with saw teeth on them that will prove very useful. There's a Phillips head screwdriver, and a conventional pen knife blade with a very sharp edge. There's also a case for the tool that can be affixed to a web belt. I didn't expect a full tool kit, I expected a multi-tool, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. If your expectations are reasonable, this is a "must-have" for any grab-n-go bag in an emergency.

This is not a serious tool. The previous reviews are dishonest at best. This is a multi-tool at best. Not much bigger. I was expecting something in the hatchet size range. This thing is tiny and I see very little actual use for it.

Make sure you check the dimensions. This is the size of a small hammer; I expected at least the size of a hatchet but it’s small! Read the description.

As per other reviewers, it's quite small, not like a fencing plier for example. But we needed them for evacuation kits, so the compact size is OK. It's not the fanciest tool in the world, but again, for infrequent use, I think it will do the trick. Blades were solid in the handle, and everything opened smoothly.
