came fully charged - held it's power for on- and off use during a small tree pruning. I'm very satisfied.

I bought this to run an old battery powered Makita chainsaw. it's about an 8 in bar, The battery works well and was much less than the branded battery. I get good run time out of the battery. The battery does warm up when charging, much more so than any other batteries I have used so that is somewhat concerning.

After purchasing two different red-colored battery brands on Amazon and eBay, I bought these batteries. Both were advertised as having a capacity of 3500mAh, but when tested with an advanced battery tester, they actually measured a capacity of around 1900mAh, significantly lower than the advertised amount. In contrast, this battery proved to be superior, measuring 92% of its true capacity of 3000mAh. Although it may be more expensive, at least you are getting what you pay for. Furthermore, this battery appears to be better constructed and closely resembles the genuine Makita battery in terms of its construction.

The NIMH battery for y Makita cordless drill had finally lost it's charge. Was trying to lay cement board underlayment for ceramic tile job in our master bathroom when the battery finally lost all charge. Borrowed a neighbor's cordless drill to complete job, but needed to buy replacement battery. Tried at Menard's and Lowe's, but the model drill I had was older and no replacement battery now available. After surfing the internet, found this battery with more mAH than other replacement batteries offered. I purchased and have been very, very pleased with the battery performance. Best value for $'s spent!!

Battery worked very well at first but after 7 months it became completely unusable. A fully charged battery now only lasts a couple of minutes of use. Will not buy again.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He has a Makita Cordless Drill Model 6213D. The drill is 10+ years old and he was working with the original two batteries. We were constantly charging them because they didn't hold a charge long. I ended up giving him the battery before Christmas. Because he was suffering his usual frustrations with the old batteries when he was trying to put some other Christmas gifts together for our son. The new battery worked wonderfully. We have yet to need to charge it. If this continues we will definitely buy a new one. Only complaint is that it wasn't eligible for free shipping and the thing isn't light so that was an additional $$$. Hence why I only bought one . . . didn't want to be stuck shipping them back but if it continues to perform I will be ordering another one . . . maybe for Valentines' Day. Nothing says I love you like power tools in our house!

It's a good replacement for original batteries. When fully charged, it seems to have more power than my older Makita batteries. In a drill, it seems to last a bit longer than original batteries, but in an impact driver, it seems to last about the same length of time as original batteries. Overall, performance seems no better and no worse than original batteries, but price is better. This is a good way to extend the life of old, but still working, tools.

Great replacement battery for my Makita. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased now. Very pleased with the fit in the drill and battery life!
